Default BetOnSports Buyout of VO Group finally a done deal?

Is being reported at Gambling 911.

I hope not for several reasons:

VO might have had horrible customer service, but they don't have cases of players being just stiffed.

But the bigger issue is that with all of this consolidation there are going to be fewer books to bet with. Makes advantage betting much more difficult if lines are the same and the number of bonuses are cut down because why attract new customers when they already play at your other books. The trend is obvious, and maybe good for players in general, but fewer outs will hurt some, no doubt.

Will be interesting to see whther the VO groups will operate independently Like betmill, or if they will just keep the names like MVP, but move the players over the BOS platform.

I agree wiht Lakerfan, consolidation is definitely bad for the players. Especailly for sharp players. One thing for sharp players who played at VO books, but may not have played at BOS much need to consider, is not only does BOS get vo's players list, but they also now have the names of all the players VO listed as sharp. I know when i tried to open an accounts at infinity, my deposit was retunred. WHen i asked why, they said because they were partly (or wholly) owned by betmill, and they can see that betmill has me down as a sharp player, so they don't want my action.

I think it is a decent match or fit. The VO owner has been trying to get out for a while. BOS is not able to flood the air waves with advertising so buying up these mid tier books is probably a good business move.
