no one watches except die-hard fans and gamblers. i've always wondered about how much they charge for commercials. cause everyone knows the superbowl gets over a Million for 30 seconds, but it usually draws a 30% share or better. baseball is lucky is it has a 2% share. the networks pay out hundreds, if not, a billion for those contracts, so they have to get their money somehow, but when you grab less than a 5% share. its hard to justify asking corporations to pay top dollar for air time.

Arizona vs. Colorado a disaster for the networks...

Cleveland vs. Colorado would be a netework executive's nightmare.

They could show rerurns of any of the previous 100+ World Series and they would draw more than that matchup.

Huh? These are going to be great games.

The games should be good but the ratings will be down, Boston is a small market.

The Colorado series will be the lowest rated series of all times.

Yep they lost in all series

Without Yankees i am sure the networks rather have had LA than Boston

I keep hearing Boston is America team and that they always get great ratings. I don't think it will matter because the NL winner will be terrible anyway. After last night, I'm done watching baseball.

Nothing will make this year worse than Boston winning a pennant and automatic WS title

I could care less about the TV ratings, believe those Madison Avenue numbers to be about as trustworthy as an Arthur Andersen audit. It's been a very exciting season as far as I'm concerned, and I'll continue to watch the games.

About as trustworthy as random useless information posted by people on the Internet to boot.

Red Sox will win it all.
