    Default First NFL Coach Fired

Any thoughts on first NFL coach fired?
I just took +750 on Marvin Lewis, as he's had enough time to get things fixed and has failed miserably.

I'd totally vote for Sean Payton if he wasn't just a 2nd year guy. How you go from offensive genius to a team that can't do anything without any major personnel changes ... that usually equals you're fired. John Fox in Carolina could be a scape goat also depending on where that team finishes. You can't expect much with David Carr as the QB, but I kinda think he's been on the hot seat for a few years.

I think Marvin's job is pretty secure at least for another year, ownership really likes the guy.

Bad bet - Marvin is filling seats and that is all Mike Brown really cares about. Cincy is all about mediocrity and they are actually slightly better than that.

Yeah it won't be Marvin. Mike Brown hates to fire coaches no matter how bad they are. Look how long he stuck with Shula, Coslet and LeBeau.

If I was in St. Louis, I don't think I'd get too comfortable...
