    Default SBR Odds Question

If the facts are that Bodog and Bowmans deal dual lines to their customers, how valuable is it to have them on the SBR Odds website? The forum has posted multiple times that the line they get is different from the one quoted on SBR Odds. If that is the case, it would be my opinion to take them off SBR Odds.

Or, if there was a way to put your own personal login information in and you get the lines that Bodog or Bowmans intended for you to have, that would work out as well. I think it would be much more valuable to have Mansion and WSEX in there instead of these two books. I remember there being a conversation about how many books there can be on one screen.........if there is a process of elimination that needs to happen, I would vote that these two books be the first to go.

    Letting my opinion be known.........

Thanks for your opinion E, I really appreciate it. I know these books check the SBR Forum daily and I hope they will consider your point.

We are looking at ways to cookie in players to the correct line set. Or, have a toggle switch so you the player can toggle to the line set that you have.

As far as SBR goes, keep in mind these books pay good money to be on SBRLines. We want you, the player, to be happy so we try to choose only the best books. We wish they would deal one line but if they deal two we are going to find a way to have the correct line set displayed.

John, thanks for the reply. Don't get me wrong here.....I'm not cutting on Bodog or Bowmans. They have their business model and they gotta do what they gotta do. I would be all for keeping them on sbrlines full time if the line feed is correct for the player (that being me). My lines are different than what is displayed on SBRLines as well.

I guess my point is this: SBRLines is a fantastic product and concept. I just want it to be correct for me and any other player that displays it. I would think that Bodog and Bowmans would want that as well. I think if there is a way to get each player their correct lines, that is a huge shot in the arm for SBRLines, in my opinion. From a player perspective, it is a great tool to have all the data in front of you on one screen conceptually. But, from a player's perspective, you also have to be confident that the data in front of you is correct.

For the record, my balance is zero at both of these books so catering to me probably should not be their first priority but I would be willing to wager that I'm in the majority when it comes to my opinion on this subject. Thanks for listening.....

Hey I'm with you EBone! And you know I just don't understand their thinking. With SBRLines these guys are clients so I'm trying to walk a fine line. A book or two has told us they dont want us to have their sharp line set. I'm thinking why the f\*\*k not??

We have made a LOT of progress changing the way book makers think about their lines and the move is toward open lines even the sharp line set. We will keep working them because its really in their best interest. They just dont know it yet .

Thanks, John. Changing people's deeply held beliefs in anything is a major chore. I would imagine it is twice as hard convincing sportsbooks to change their modes of operation. But, hey, good luck with that. I sure am glad you're taking on that challenge instead of me. Keep up the great work you are doing here.
