    Smile Disney World

I just got back from there, and man are my legs and feet killing me. We were there for about 13 hours. My son had a blast and that is all that matters to me. Got a lot of stuff in and weather was nice, but got cold when the sunset.

This was the first time Ive been to Disney World (FL), but I have been to Disneyland (CA) a few time and the last time was about 14 years ago, that put me around 14 years of age then. So I can say Ive been to both Disney's This was my sons first time, and he enjoyed it. Hes only 3 but he loved seeing all his Disney friends.

Well Im dead tired and everyone as passed out already, I thought I would just share where I was at all day today. Even if most dont care.

Again, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year everyone.

I'd like to take my kids for that trip soon but still a little young. A buddy told me that it's not what it used to be with the Mickeys and Donalds walking around to meet the kids. He said now they have it set up like a book signing where the parents have to buy an autogaph and line up and kids can't even touch the dirty ol toons. I'm hoping it isn't that bad?

no no no Bill. You do not pay for autographs. The characters are in certain spots and certainly you have to get in line for a pic and autograph. You can have them sign a notebook if you want but disney does sell autograph books which are not that expensive and you can have the characters sign that. If you need any help(or anyone else) on making a disneyworld trip let me know. My family is made up of disney fanatics and we know all the secrets and stuff to save you money. Just pm me the details of what you are looking for and stuff like how many people and the age of the kid and I will get busy with it. I just got back from my 10th disney trip in the last 2 years like 1 hour ago.

Yes I did. That thing is great. My son was about a inch to small to get on that ride, it was 44 inches to ride. He would of freaked out anyway.

Hey Picantel, what one did you go to? Land or World?

Yeah Bill, everything Picantel said is right to a T. You can hung and touch the toons. We went thru Mickey's House, and at the end of the tour we got to met Mickey and take pictures.

They have a cool thing called a photo pass where they have photographers thru out the park and they scan that card after they take pictures and you can view them online and buy what you want. Pretty cool Idea.

We always go to the world. This time we stayed with my parents who live in Orlando except on christmas day I found a room on travelocity for an unreal $38 at saratoga springs. In mid January we are going to all star music for 3 nights and then wilderness lodge(one of our faves) for 5 nights. In the past we also stayed at the french quarter, riverside, pop century, all star movies, coronado springs, dolphin, beach club, animal kingdom lodge, and the contemporary.

    Pic,

I just might take you up on that when the time comes. I want to be right in the thick of it with all those characters dancing and singing around the hotel making me nuts.

What is the Animal Kingdom Lodge?

Missed your post Bill. The animal kingdom lodge is one of their newest hotels. It was done by the same designer as the wilderness lodge and is also considered a deluxe(and one of the cheapest by disney standards lol). The lodge is in a U shape and in the middle there is a savannah with a bunch of animals. If you get one of the better views you can go out on your balcony and watch the zebras or other animals eat and roam. Pretty cool. Here is a link:

I also forgot. How old are you kids, do you live in the states and if so where, and when are you thinking of going. Your first trip you DO NOT want to go in summer or around a holliday unless you want to spend your entire time trying to get on a ride or find a place to eat. If and when you are ready I can tell you the best places for your food tastes, best hotels for your budget, ect ect.
