Default 30 seconds left in half, ball past midfield, coach tells qb to kneel

For anyone who plays the overs isn't it a buzz kill like for yesterday's Packers-Bears game when coach Smith told Grossman to kneel with 30 seconds left, time outs remaining?in half and ball was on Packers side of the field.Hmmmm, maybe Lovey had a bet on the under? What the hell kind of coaching decisions are these?Luckily it still worked out for the overs in the end but these conservative coaching strategies are absurd.Time management is something sorely lacking amongst most coaches and quarterbacks in the NFL.Good case in point was the Eagles super bowl debacle where Reed and ** Nab looked like deer in the headlights when running the 2 minute offense at the end of the game.

the bears were up 7 at the time this happened. so, i can sorta see the logic behind the move but, your right. when the division is on the line, i would have went for it myself.
