We've got several varieties growing all over our property, GV. It's something deer won't eat, so that's why it's fairly prolific here. Dies back with the first low-30s cold front, comes right back in the spring.

I tried the leaves and the x10 extract. It's pretty crap, I personally wouldn't recommend you bother with it. You only get a 10-15 minute "high" which isn't particularly high at all. And it smelt and tasted like crap from what I recall.

Really? People smoke this stuff? Man, I try not to even brush up against it when walking around because it's got such a pungent odor to it (one of the reasons deer won't eat it). Pretty funny, had no idea people were smoking it to get high.

I only got it because they sold it from the same shop where I used to buy my magic mushrooms and it was pretty cheap. Tried it twice, never touched it since. Comparing this to any decent drug is like comparing Kool-Aid to freshly squeezed orange juice.

Nope, but I don't believe everything I see on youtube. I can only speak from my experience - it's not worth wasting your time with. Get some weed instead.

I have no idea what drug you're talking about, but I think I found a rare typo; "smelt" should be smelled. Not a rip; your posts are thought provoking, regardless what side of the issue you're on (ended a sentence with a preposition; I should talk!).

Still can't believe it's something to smoke and get high. Stuff grows all over the place here, at least it does 4-6 months a year. If it smells while it's burning anything like it does while it's growing in the ground, I also can't imagine it would be too pleasant of an experience.

I can remember in high school, some kids got real sick smoking some strange stuff. There was this stuff.....jimsen weed or something, grew locally. Spread through the local school systems....typical fad. Couple kids got hurt though.

I also recall, around the same time....illy/wet came along. You guys have probably heard of it by another name. It's embalming fluid. They dipped mint leaves, weed, all sorts of things in that stuff, dried it and sold it ready to smoke.

Things like that are just unfathomable to me.

It is sold in most head shops all over southern california. It is all over and it is something that is strange to do and can be scary!! very weird but worth a try ....

there are some guys on the radio who did it and some of them got something from it and the others did not, the dude that did get high was freaked out for like 10-15 minutes....
