Yup Helmut,not sure what the setup on entertainment taxes are in NYC but chances are,people that don't even go to games who buy a hot dog on the street pay a tax that goes to helping pro sports teams get arenas and stadiums.This woman will get a chunk of money from the owner that should have been spent on paying for the arena.

Now this woman can travel the world on that $$$$$$$$$and get bonked by every native she just met in the tikki bar who addresses her by Beee-***************.

Can't Isaiah Thomas win anything? He messed up the Knicks with his lousy GM moves, pissed off Larry Brown, cost the organization over 11 million dollars by not settling with this "lady" and now everyone knows how players like Starbury spend their free time entertaining interns (at least Starbury has a little better taste in women). I would hope the Knicks have nowhere to go but up from here, but I doubt it, and the Knicks will probably sign him to an extension.

Yes, 10 million is totally outrageous when you think most of us work like dogs to earn less than $40,000 a year.

What I do not understand is why there were no requirements that Thomas was to be fired if he lost the case. While this is a civil suit, I would think that if MSG loses the appeal, that he will be fired, but I guess being guilty in a civil suit means you can stand up to a bunch of microphones and proclaim your innocence.

How can the Knicks expect a man who just lost a highly publicized sexual discrimination suit be expected to hold a team of underachieving basketball players together? The fans will be brutal when the Knicks venture out of MSG.

On the other end, how OJ was proclaimed innocent in criminal court, yet held to financial fault in a civil court still seems beyond reason. I know the courts are held to different standards.....but (not being an attorney) I really never understand how our legal system works.
