On a Sunday of all days.

Deposited $150 thru **, no problems, got the confirmation \# and put it into the Omega site at 12:20pm EST hoping to get the funds before the early games started. At half time I check, still "in process". I get on the live chat with Omega, they tell me they can't pick up the funds, that ** is not releasing them. I call **, the rep tells me there are absolutely no issues with that transfer and that it is available for pick-up by the receiver. I get back on the chat with Omega, they tell me they'll try to pick them up again, but can't do anything about it if ** won't release them.

But I've already been told by a ** rep that there are zero problems with picking up the funds. I'm still "in process" 30 minutes after all this took place.

Why doesn't Omega just tell you they are having problems with their systems or whatever the real problem is, instead of blaming it on ** not releasing funds?

** cash is credited 15 minutes ** CC 15-30 minutes depending on amount and your CC ( ** verification )

Thanks for your patronage with Omega. Sometimes there are some additional delays when the ** transaction is sent with CC. Even though the transaction says ready, on this particular occassion we were told originally by ** that we would have to wait 11 hours before this could be accepted. We tried a short time later and were able to process the transaction. Thanks again for your support.

One of the issues with ** and ** is that a lot of places will not accept these via CC. Also, some places run out of processing capability believe it or not. Plus we offer free ********** payouts. I wont bore you again with the other advantages of an ewallet versus direct funding.

BigBoyDan...I'm probably on the edge of being seen as an Omega shill, but since you're a reasonable poster I'll repeat what I've pointed to in other threads.

The advantage of depositing through Omega using a check, wire, or CC, is that you don't have to pay any fees at all coming or going.

The advantage of depositing via ** isn't as great, as I see it, becuase you're still paying the ** or ** fee to deposit. You aren't paying it, though, to get your money from the book to your bank account if you happen to run your deposit up. So there's even a potential savings there.

With one free withdrawal a month no longer a part of most book's standard package, places like this will definitely offer value once they get a few bigger shops on board.

I've written in other threads that I don't yet have an account with Omega. I'm just following the customer stories and trying to gaurge the place before I make the plunge. So I'm not saying thumbs up becaue I don't know.

That said, it seems to me a good thing that they have a rep who pays attention to these threads and I'm a little puzzled as to why people keep repeating this thing about how you might just as well deposit directly through **.

If it turns out over time that Omega does what they say they can do, then they'll save us transactions costs. It might take days not hours, but it if you can get back to zero moving money around costs between books and your bank that's a big deal.
