    what is the deal with the asian chick in atlantic city (at the beginning of the movie)? she said, "you're still here? two hundred dollars and i'll split it with you...how about one hundred?"

    what is her deal? is she a hooker?

    Watched this movie last month...excellent film. I was telling Pags about this the other day. Great movie for gamblers to watch....gives you an idea about out of control degenerate gamblers.

    Well i think her character is there to showcase the desperation and despair that people expererience in casinos who will do just about anything for money.....i think the viewer is suppose to feel sorry for her but realize that is the type of person who you will find at a casino.

    yeah, i think you're right about that. for some reason, my first instinct seeing a girl in a casino is that she is a hooker.

    great movie. my favorite part is the ribs no sauce. the casino host purposely make all the ribs but won't bring it to the table until mahoney lose everything. then he talks to the black guy in the stairway realizing there are shit load of ribs with no sauce. that was great.
