    Default Pavlik/Taylor Old School boxing

Both will go down. I'm not sure which one won't get up.

Pavlik's the biggest puncher in the division, in all weight classes for that matter. 28 kos in 31 fights.

Puncher vs Boxer. The stronger guy doesnt always win

I really thought I'd be getting a little bit better odds on Pavlik in this fight. Currently he is only getting like +140 range which seems kinda short to me.

Take both Pavlik by KO and Taylor by decision. Guaranteed profit. You can thank me later.

Nah, not after what he did to Miranda. Prior to Miranda's fight with Pavlik- he was this beast that no one wanted to tangle with, after Pavlik destroyed him, he was raw and crude. One of the best middleweights in the world- very strong skilled is Arthur Abraham in Germany. Miranda went over to German and broke his jaw in two places, and Abraham wanted to quit bad but his corner told him to hang in there and he got a fricken German hometown 5 minutes to rest and think about it... anyways if Miranda was that bad he wouldn't have gotten to Abraham. I still can't believe how Pavlik crushed him. I lean Pavlik, the fight is 50/50 at worst for Pavlik so I see +140 as nice.

This is all true. I think JT looking less than impressive against Spinks and Ouma, although it's difficult to look good against those two, is also a factor in the line being what it is. Regardless, Pavlik's the real deal. Anyone who questions this doesn't know boxing. If JT trades shots with Pavlik in the middle of the ring, he WILL be KO'd early. Conversely, if Taylor listens to Manny Steward and keeps Pavlik at a distance by consistently using his jab, I like his chances of winning a decision. If Taylor disobeys Manny, as he often did against Winky, and tries to earn a stoppage to impress his growing list of doubters, he's in big trouble. It's definitely an intriguing fight, and it's a gift that this is on regular HBO, not HBO PPV.

This was a great fight to watch. The first 3 rounds were action packed full of punches for both fighters, and probably was one of if not the best fight of the year.

agree- I can't wait for the rematch. They are moving up a weight class which means even more power.

Very good fight. Pavlik showed his will to win, and strong punching. I just don't know how the judges could have Taylor ahead by 3 to 4 points. I thought it was a even fight up to the knock out.

Taylor was dominating the power punches stats and overall connection rate. If he were more evasive around the ropes and maintained his accuracy he wins the decision.
