Senator,
I put a few on there, didn't I? I like taking a look at as many lines as possible. Because of the upgrade from SBR at Heritage, I'll be there soon. Mudcat is so right about Intertops. It has unbelievable potential as far as value is concerned. Matchbook and Mansion for value reasons...... Seems all my reasons are because of value in the lines.
I just like to eat from the variety pack.

If you've signed up at all those books, I'd hate to see the junk mail you must get this time of year! Anybody else have a top 10? Don't be shy, let's see them!

I stand by my opionion that they should add all the books and let the users customize the settings. It makes financial sense too I believe. I dont know what they charge for a banner spot, but lets do some speculation (I love speculating and giving examples concerning money)
lets just assume the banner spots up top go for $1,000 per month. if we limit to 10 spots we are making $10k per month. Not a bad number.
Now, lets say we were going to offer 50 spots, but the books know that they may not be in everyones top list, so their exposure might be a little less. Lets just cut the price in half, so it is now $500 maintenance fee to be listed on the SBR Live line program. 50 * $500 = $25,000 per month. Not a bad increase in revenue. Lets think about some other implications. Coming from a watchdog site, some may consider advertising a conflict of interest. Well, not so if you give everyone equal opportunity to advertise. I believe a business model like the one I layed out will also make the books try harder to be in the players top 10 list, that way they are getting more advertising.
If you guys need help implementing something like this, I may be available for contract...![]()
