    Default Omega's New Fee Structure

In a recent thread Omega Mike mentioned that his company had switched to a new fee structure. Here it is from the site's own FAQ.

Is there a fee for withdrawing (cashing out) from Omega Internet Solutions?

Yes, for withdraw by **. All the other withdraw options are free.

Is there a fee to fund (deposit) to your own Merchant or User account?

No, there is no fee to fund (deposit) to your own Merchant or User account.
Mike clarified this by saying that if you fund via ** or ** you have to pay the ** or ** fee. But, if you fund via check or wire transfer there are no fees for deposit or withdrawal.

Neteller charged books from two to four and a half percent on incoming money, and if I read the Omega FAQ correctly books will pay Omega eight percent on transfers they facilitate. Players need to realize, then, that there will need to be higher roll-over requirements or no bonuses or something to allow books a fair margin.

That said, for the player, this looks to me almost as good as the good old days. When these transfer companies pop up people are always saying quite reasonably, "Why don't I just deposit directly to the book through **." Well, in this case, the answer is because you can save yourself those cashout fees if you work through Omega depositing via CC, check, or wire.

    Books serviced by Omega include:

5 Dimes ($300 limit at the moment)
    Jazz Sports
    Bet Guardian
    SBG
    BetMania
    BetLasPalmas
    Ehorse
    BetTrojan

In an email Mike informed me that BetPhoenix and BetAtlas are in the pipeline.

Mike as a point of information we would most like to see Bookmaker, Olympic, BetOnLine, Matchbook, WSEX, ThePig, and BetJamaica added to your roster. Get a couple of those and you move from being a player to a Player in this market.

I do not yet have an account at OmegaInternetSolutions, so not having gotten my hands dirty going through the whole process it’s possible that there’s something that I’m missing. I do keep my eye on the transfer business, though, and Omega looks to me like the most interesting work-around that's emerged in the post-UIGEA world.

OmegaInternetSolutions will also deal with poker site? If it does this will be the next Neteller. I really miss Neteller though. Even they hold my 7k for 6 months but I still got my $ back in the end.

Tiger...I believe they do have deals with a few small poker sites, none of the main ones though.

    Default Omega

Omega is always working on acquiring new merchants, including poker.

To JJgolds point, even though some of the larger merchants are not currently working with Omega doesn't mean that it is not useful to use Omega. Anybody using the sites that currently are Omega merchants have several advantages to using Omega versus working directly with a merchant. Omega now offering free payouts is just another advantage.

Lebowski, thanks for the information on Firefox issues.

A merchant that doesn't payout directly to clients won't do so through Omega or any other source--like Cascade who they were trying to court recently. JJ is right; Omega needs some A Books in its system before they can be taken seriously.

    Hedgehog,

Thanks for the feedback. It is always the case with any new product that some people will adopt the use of the product earlier than others. Some people prefer to wait until only the largest merchants are using a service before trying it and others are more willing to try services before they become the industry mainstay. As we continue to add merchants I am sure some of the larger merchants will begin using Omega. For those of you working with sites that accept Omega then there are clear advantages to using Omega and we appreciate your use of our services.

JJgold I look forward to having some of the larger sites onboard too.

gotsteam...seems to me you're asking all the right questions. I know physically their website says they're in Panama. It's pretty clear that whatever their business background is, it's not in sportsbooks.

Hopefully if enough people like you ask and follow up on these kinds of questions there will be a few early adaptors and we'll start to get a fuller sense of the quality and reliability of their service.

    Default Omega information

I appreciate the interest in Omega.

Omega has offices in Panama and Costa Rica. The principals have experience in the industry with backgrounds in processing and operations. I think in this day and age there isn't much more that can be said. With most things the proof is always in the actions. If you have concerns then try us for a small amount and build up the trust as you go. Thanks again for the questions.

Great, so a customer can come and see the office in Panama or Costa Rica?

Maybe Bill pr John could pay them a visit and do a report for everyone.

OK, so just so I understand, what you are saying is you are registered in Panama and have an office in Costa Rica?

I read on your web site that you had an office in Panama and in Costa Rica.

    Thanks for the clarification.

So if someone wants to visit you in Costa Rica what is the address?

Great to see the removal of the 8% W/D fees for users. BetAtlas would be a fine addition as well.

    Keep up the progress
