Yea, with $30,000 you get into the danger zone. Once you are well into the 5 figures it becomes profitable for them to take the PR hits and wiggle out of some or all of the money they owe. Send us an email if you would like so we can see what our contacts who were kept from the previous version of BetRoyal have to say.

Funny, I just never thought of myself as a "big" player.

My minimum bet is $100, my maximum bet is $4000. I guess my average bet is $500. I usually bet 5-10 bets per day of all different sizes. I would guess my card each day puts about $5000 up in total bets. Days when there is a big play going I might put $8,000 in total bets up. Some days are light, maybe 5-6 small plays with $2,000 in total bets. Like I said small potatoes.

Where does this stand? Are they stiffing you?
Please take this over to the Rx to warn others. They have a silly policy that people can only post first hand experiences. |

The Rx is therxforum.com. SBG is a coveted sponsor there but its unlikely they will allow a sponsor complaint.

As far as bet Royal I never got anything bad with them. I did 5 withdraw with them and everything was fine. My last withdraw was after NBA season and about time SBG bought them. All sudden my withdraw was hold more then 2 weeks but still go through. I've never comeback to them since I never like SBG myself before.

If there was 30 accounts all popping the same plays for huge amounts it would look like syndicate action. Especially if the action is all the same. I know I"m super cautious on approaching things since my brother and I play at some of the same books. Our action is different however I never log on using his computer etc. D books (and even some A, B C books) expect you to lose and when you don't they penalize you. So far I"ve never had a balance taken, but a few spots have slashed my limits to almost nothing.
GL curious on getting the coin. |

I suppose this is silly or naive, but: what can the book say is wrong with collusion, at least of the sort that's implied here? Collusion to influence game results, I get. Collusion to manipulate lines? OK, maybe, though I don't much understand that argument (and it wouldn’t apply if the participants were all betting the same direction). Collusion to evade bet limits, I suppose, but that would only matter if they bet essentially simultaneously -- with internet betting, lines can be programmed to move, or to lock out further betting, instantly upon attainment of specified criteria.
I know it's just about stopping winning bettors, but is there a theoretical argument a book can make against syndicate play? |

http://www.majorwager.com/forums/mess-hall/ http://forums.eog.com/online-sportsb...ng-discussion/ SBG has a long history if stiffing big accounts. It's their MO. Remember this one: 11/8/2006 10:58 PM SBG Global (SBR rating D-) confiscates $56,660 before paying a take-it-or-leave-it "settlement" in the amount of $21,000. The account was opened with $800 by a woman who won $50,000 in the casino then withdrew $15,000. The woman’s husband verified with SBG Global that he was eligible to place wagers on the account before losing bets on sporting events bringing the balance down to $15,000. The following weekend he won wagers on college football and week 4 of the NFL, bringing the balance from $15,000 to $56,660. SBG zeroed out the account the following Monday morning, claiming the husband was not allowed to wager under the account. After the account holder filed the complaint with SBR, SBG altered the wording of the rules regarding third party account access. Original text: In the event that a third party places a bet or is thought to have placed a bet, said bet shall be valid, whether or not the alleged third party had the prior consent or knowledge of the customer. Under no circumstances will any bet be cancelled for that reason. Post-confiscation text: (iii) You shall not allow any third party to use your account, password or identity to access or use the Service or the Software and you shall be responsible for any activities undertaken on your account by a third party. You will not reveal your user name or password to any person or use any other person’s account, password, identity or means of payment to access or use the Service or the Software. Notes: SBGglobal collected a copy of the couple’s marriage certificate and identification documents, originally stating that once proof of identity was provided the full balance would be paid. Management admits to knowing both husband and wife were using the account before the balance peaked at $56,660. The husband also held a losing account at SBG which has been dormant for months, with a zero balance and is in good standing. SBG allows for multiple users per household. |

Hey - I am new to this but I wanted to let people know that this book is crap and I am getting screwed too. I had read that Royal was a little risky but then I read that SBG was supposed to be good and had taken over so I deposited 5k. I had a good run and turned it into 15k. I started requesting payouts last week to my neteller account. First they changed the rollover amount so I made some more bets on the weekend then they wanted pic ID so I sent that in then they wanted a utility bill so I sent that in. By last Tuesday they said it was all good and I would get paid. Tuesday night still no money. Live chat says no, no we need a verification phone call. Fine!! So I talked to them on Wednesday morning. They say all is good. You will have your money any minute. Three more live chat conversations through out the day. Oh yes, any minute now..... That was with $7500 pending for payout... so I requested the rest yesterday and emailed them and told them to close the account and send my money. They said oh no, we must get a verification call on the new payout requests. I AM READY TO CUT MY THROAT!!! I have complied with everything short of a retnal scan and an anal probe and STILL havent gotten a penny !!!!!! I would never recommend this book to any one EVER!!!! I have emailed someone here for help and they are looking into it for me. I sure hope I can get this resolved. I have learned my lesson!!

If you are going to play at non Pinnacle, WSEX, Olympic, etc books, you are better off with 15 $2000 balances than 1 $30,000 balance...
