I'd like to hear some opinions about the overuse of guests in the booth or on the phone during games. It seems like it is getting worse. If it's not someone, unrelated to football, plugging a show on the same network, it's a coach from an upcoming "bigger" game scheduled for the same network. And those two cases don't cover all the scenarios. In every case, the game we are trying to watch takes a back seat.

What prompted this post is the disrespect shown by ESPN to Okla and Tulsa and their fans AND anyone who just wanted to watch the game last Friday. From the middle of the 1st Q to about the middle of the 2nd, we had to listen to, not one, but two former ND coaches, Davie and Holtz, talking mostly about ND. What nerve. The game isn't yet a blowout and we have to endure more discussion about ND's problems. What about Okla's excellence and Tulsa's efforts to compete. I am a fan of neither school, but I felt very offended by all the ND talk during their game.

It's not just ESPN, although lately they seem to do this the most, especially on their Thurs and Fri games. Actually, I can't say they do it the most. I guess I watch more games there and it seems that way.

The networks are just a show now, most of the time it is all about them. I am tired of these ex black athletes dominating the air waves and talking the black talk with each other like on a street corner selling crack.

Secondly all they do is talk about when they played, no one gives a fuk about them, I eant to hear about the game we are watching or related shit.
