    Default OT: Sunday Ticket

I'm curious just how people here purchased this service this year?

I've got it and all, but I really don't feel it's worth the price Direct TV is asking.

eeehhh it's ok.. Too much more though and they can go fly a kite... The one thing that pisses me off the most is that the HD package is A LOT more to have...

I purchased the package for $229, divided into 5 monthly payments. I don't buy any of the extra stuff they sell like Super Fan, HD.

Hate to say it, but worth every penny to have access to every game.

I'm a subscriber of both Sunday Ticket and Superfan. No point having an HDTV and not getting the extra package, the games look awesome but I wish they'd give every 1 o clock game in HD .

My cable company doesn't offer the package. Even if they did I doubt if I would buy it as the NFL isn't that interesting to me. There is a local sports bar that has the games available should I have a pressing need to view a game. I generally watch the local feed and espn.com to monitor the games on Sunday.
I purchased the college game plan package for $119.For me its worth it.

if you play fantasy there is no question that it is worth every penny.....Im a redskins fan living in Dallas so needless to say I get very few Redskin games......I love being able to watch them loose every week, well except for last week.

I am not home most of the day on Sunday, so no need for me to have it. But if I was home, I would purchase it along with the Super Fan HD. HD is a must.

    Dan,
I guess I'm just a degenerate football junkie.

But I've got it and love it!

I like being able to watch games I've got money on. I like not having to watch commercials. I like trying to watch the end of all the games.

I don't smoke, drink, do recreational drungs or chase women other than my wife...but I do love to watch the NFL.

I can watch like 8 at once with the extra package, but that channels overkill to me. I like just watching a couple different games and flipping around depending on which I've got $$ on. The scores are like everywhere so it's nice.

    How much was that package?

$99, it's the Superfan deal. Aside from the HD, one channel offers 8 games on screen with the scores. There's also some feature with the remote where you can check player stats, but I haven't toyed with that much.
