    Default FWIW:ABC Islands

I screwed up putting in a bet online and called them expecting the worst. WoW, the two people I talked with couldn't have been nicer. The girl that answered the phone and the guy that corrected my play.
    No problem, no worries.
I know we bitch when they screw us (books) but I just want to give 'em a shout out when they do right.

Thanks savman. There is much less good feedback for obvious reasons so it is always appreciated.

And ties win on teasers! Good place for the recreational player. Surprised their grade isn't a tad higher.

I have liked ABC for a long time for a lot of reasons. Just don't go to them for bonuses. They get very hinky about bonuses.

I mean they have bonuses but it's like they offer them, but then they are automatically suspicious of anyone who takes them. I could tell a few stories. One of them involved them changing their rules on the fly because of me. It was actually pretty unethical what they did.

But it was a long time ago and it was even a bit comical how freaked out Harvey got (about his own rules). Anyway there is a lot good about this book and it deserves more business in spite of itself.

Mudcat they seem to view all Canadians as bonus whores and certainly have given a few people a hard time about that. If a book offers a bonus I'll always hit them up for that unless the bonus rules are unreasonable. Never played at this book tho so I'll just be wary if I do.

At the time of the incident I referred to, they had a 25% cash bonus - and a bunch of other plans. I like their lines enough to play there with no bonus so if they also offer 25% cash, why wouldn't I take it?

Anyway I won't get into the whole song-and-dance. At some point I wanted a payout and Harvey decided my rollover would be 30x rather than 10x.

It was unethical and we had a fair bit of back and forth - and Harvey was borderline insane with some of the stuff he was saying - but, bottom line, the lines are useful enough that I completed the rollover no problem.

Anyway, they got rid of that 25% deal right then and now they have more modest offers that hopefully aren't as traumatizing for Harvey.
