I joined Brobury sports four days ago - put in $1500. I built it up to about $5500 by making a bunch of different wager types - NHL, NBA, NCAA, 1st halfs, 2nd halfs etc.

Wager size was $150 - $400.

I went to make bets tonight and got a message saying my limit was $10 - that's right, a whopping ten bucks.

I would be happy to copy and paste my plays here so you could see them - they are not "sharp" plays by any means. I just like to bet.

Any decent bookmaker would look at my plays and be happy to see them - I made several bets a night and never chased steam or made wagers that you would consider sharp.

Anyways, "live help" says it is a managers decision and can't give me any more details. I have requested a cashout so I'll let you know if that goes smoothly/quickly. I also emailed the "host" to see if he can fix it.

Stupid thing is I would have been happy to keep playing there and likely would have lost some back. Don't understand why a book would be scared after someone wins a couple grand from them.

Anyone else have this problem?

I was able to place a 2nd half wager on Kansas St. but nothing else could go through - tried to put a second half bet on the Portland game. Thought it might just be NBA but then when I tried to make a wager on the NCAA games for tomorrow I got the same thing.

Here's an update:

First off, my moneybookers payment for $4k was already sent. I got it in less than 36 hours from the request date.

I was never really worried about getting paid - in fact if anything this shows the book is overcautious and protecting their money.

The manager was able to get my limits back up. They're in the Sportsbook.com family so to speak and sportsbook.com has a reputation of cutting limits so it might have been done without management at Brobury even knowing. Anyways, I'm able to bet again.

Very happy with the fast payout and we'll see if I run into anymore headaches. At least they fixed it pretty quickly.

Does anyone even look at the main part of SBR? Look at the front page - they just were upgraded. That's where I first heard of them and then read in another thread that they were offering a 32% bonus.

Run a search like I did - people have gotten paid.

Brobury have been fine with me. They are along the same lines CS wise as Linesmaker.com, which I've also had no problems with.
Payouts are always quick. Good bonuses.
