Default Does anyonethink the free 1/2 point

is worth anything at Skybook. I mean can you really win a significant amount of more games? Its not usable on a 3 or7,I guess its cheaper than buying the 1/2 point, any of your PRO's have an idea?

14 is actually a keyer number than 7 but books have never picked up on that. But personally I would rather play elsewhere especially after their rating dropped a lot

You can do better with reduced juice and a wider selection. If it was me I might keep one unit there. In today's environment I would be spread out quite a bit. Deposits are free and you can always reload.

Agree with Dozer on his points. Basketball is different. That 1/2 point can be huge if you know how to use it.

If you like to play the board in the NFL you can get a free 1/2 point at ThePig. This includes 3 and 7.

All bets have to be on the same call and for the same amount. The min is $10 and max $500.

i think 3 is the key number.

3 is obviously the most common, but when the spread is 13.5-14.5 it is more likely to land on 14 than a 6.5-7.5 to land on 7 I believe

rm- Because there are so few games where the spread is 13.5 - 14.5 it may look that way. I'm not sure where your data was from or how many years back it goes. But you'll find that 3 is a key number and then 7.

There are subsets where you should always buy off/on 3 and 7.

Well 3 and 7 is def the number but you can't play on or off of those. Is that 1/2 point really worth playing with them or would you go with one of th A books? Basketball 1/2 point only valid on Fridays.

Basketball 1/2 point only valid on Fridays.
and the only thing going are Ivy league games.

Two or three years ago they were giving a free 1/2 every day.

Depends on your bet size i guess..if a $500 bet is not much for you, the answer has to be clearly NO.

I do not consider Skybook very safe at the moment btw, and with Matchbook around i didnīt even think about going there..

football is useless, but the 1/2 point had helped me before in basketball.

There aren't enough games close to -14 to run a pure data check on them. You have to run a simulation of some kind.

In general a free 1/2 point without 3 and 7 is a lot like catching a few cents.

The free 1/2 point on Friday's basket might help, but most of the Pro's on the board have told me go with a better book like one of the A rated. I guess you might pick up a couple of games a year? any thoughts?

I don't see how bet size has anything to do with it. The value is still the same if you are betting $1 or $10,000.

Durito, what i ment is the max on the free 1/2 point is $500 (if that didnīt change).

So if you usually bet $2000 or more (just an example), would it be worth depositing at skybook, for a $500 bet each NFL sunday? Iīd have to say no.

Skybook fuks with the lines with pc programs so the 1/2 point does not hurt them.

    Default JJ is right

I checked everytime they let you take the 1/2 point the move their odds to -115 when everyone else has it at -110. Thats incrediable that they do that

never heard of this. If the line is -110 then you should get the 1/2 at -110.

Now if the line is -115 then it stays at -115. It doesn't hurt to have a little money at Skybook. There are times when the 1/2 point will give you the best line.

There are B rated books that are better than the A rated books and vice versa. I wouldn't limit only looking into A rated books.
