Please get Bob Costas off the NBC pregame. He's worse than Dennis Miller was on MNF. His jokes suck, his delivery sucks, his attitude sucks. Get rid of the dry humor. The NFL is all about spice. Send Boredom Costas back to baseball where he belongs.

9.Costas has way too much confidence for being a pencil-wrist.

8.Alex P. Keaton hairdo.

5.He knows nothing about the NFL.

3.He thinks he's smart, which he may be, but nobody likes a smartass.

1.He's probably a nice enough guy, just not an NFL kinda guy. Get him off the NBC pregame.

Agreed. I like em too. Get rid of John Madden if anything. Maybe its cause I play madden on the 360. I get tired of hearing him in the background.

I love Madden. I think you can turn off the play by play commentary in Madden. But, I know what you mean. He's the Harry Carry of the NFL. He's a blustering numb nuts, but still entertaining. Once in a while he'll utter a gem. He's part of the fabric which made the NFL great. You gotta give the guy a pass if you're a true NFL fan.

Costas is maybe a great talk show host, a great baseball analyst, etc. It is just wrong when he talks NFL.

I don't like Costas myself at all. He fashions himself as this learned intellectual who is better than the average person and it is clear that his broadcasting is largely rehearsed and he never hesitates to criticize athletes despite never being an athlete himself.

Costas needs to understand who is audience is and cut the elitest stuff out. There is a reason to why everyone likes John Madden....it's b/c his broadcasting is genuine, down to earth, and people can relate to him even though he only has an 8th grade vocabulary.

Costas needs to stay away from the horse racing scene! You can tell just how he doesn't know a absolute thing about that sport at all.
