John, does this mean you might be parting with www.racebookreview.com as well, or not ?

Dan, no on Racebookreview. We have a few horseracing ideas and tried to buy one of the larger horse sites. This is an area we will be more aggressive in in the future but not in the near future.

sharp, the buyer requests that info remain private. Once we decided to sell the poker site we had an offer and a deal in a few days. Poker is hot and I'm sure the buyer will do well.

Good move in unloading the PokerSiteReview.com. It had the same level of quality as every other dime-a-dozen poker review site. I didn't say anything when you still had it, because I didn't want to make waves. But, it looks like you guys were sharp enough to see that it didn't help your cause or credibility.

Someone mentioned how it would be nice to know about poker rooms linked to specific sportsbooks, such as how CRIS is linked to ACR. Since I play poker and bet sports, it's nice to have this type of linkage, effectively doubling my bankroll utility, since it is so easy to transfer money back and forth between poker room and sportsbook. I really love how CRIS and ACR are linked, but Bowman's poker room leaves a bit to be desired. Bodog is another nice poker-sportsbook combo I've checked out.

john, too bad we couldn't have something similar for horses.just like we do with the sbrlines theme, because that would be the best.

Good post Slacker. Unfortunately, you are correct. The site was a profit center but we were lost in many ways. We had several complaints that we were just clue less on because we are not poker experts and that was embarrassing to put it mildly.

Dan, online horse products and websites are not in particularly strong demand at the moment. Their day will come. We continue to watch the current websites and measure the opportunities.

Thanks, John. I think it might still be nice if the poker rooms affiliated with the SBR marquee sportsbooks were reviewed, as a footnote, since most forum regulars will already have money deposited at those sportsbooks and many play poker occasionally. Eventually, I'll probably write something up myself and post it on here in a month or two, as I get time and opportunity to play the various top sportsbooks recommended by SBR.
