Reminds me of a news story I read today about a new email system that allows people to annonymously "inform" people that there may be a pressing need for them to visit the STD doctor. The story stated that it is speculated there may be some abuse to the system.

This may be the funniest thing that I've read all year. What the hell does reputation points have to do with anything? This reminds me of the RX where they start a thread every other day on the top five posters aka the top 5 suckups. Do I get a little star next to my name if I'm good. I hope that you at least create a new forum called the dungeon for these childish ratings.

Reminds me when I was in 5th grade. I just got done watching Zorro the night before. Everyone was out at recess except for me. I was in the classroom and marked a big "Z" on everyone's jacket.

At the end of the day we are all walking out to go home and the teacher pulls me aside. She say's why did you mark everyone's jacket with a "Z". I said how did you know it was me? She replies, your jacket is the only one without a "Z".

raiders, I think this rating system is a response to your thread from last week about posts being deleted. Notice the icon to the right of the scale icon, it also allows for a reader to report a bad post. Thus, if readers are flagging a thread or a poster as being abusive or just disruptive, the moderators have more of a papertrail of justification for deleting threads or taking action against particular posters. It looks like just another moderator tool.

As for raiders having a red dot rather than a green dot. I know you guys are just joking around, but give raiders his green dot back. He's an SBR legend, even if he's a thorn in the side for every SBR moderator.

When voting the system gives or takes away 1 or 10 points. If you add a comment to the Add or Subtract reputation then the system adds/subtracts 10 points. if you dont add a comment they system only adds/subtracts 1 reputation point.

I guess not. I had origianlly hoped I could give myself 1000 points and then hit John up for a raise. Since that didnt work I figured I would just spend my days blasting raiders. But that didnt work either, someone came along and felt bad for him I guess because now he has like 11 points.
