Wassup boys, so I wake up, check my phone and get this text message from my buddy at college. He goes to Penn St. and as a local out there. He has been using this guy for about 9 months now. Every other week payments and not 1 problem yet. The most in 2 weeks he has lost was $1300 and paid, the most he won in 2 weeks was $1000 and got paid.

Going into yesterday, he was down $165.22. So, I get the text and it just says, **** LOCALS and to check me email. I check my email and there is a list of texts my buddy sent to local of all is bets yesterday, my buddy went 20-3 betting yesterday. 20-3

He listed all his games w/ current figure next to them after the result
All games at -110
Morgan St. +17.5 ($250 to win $227.27) LOSS down $415.22 on week
Xavier +1 ($250 to win $227.27) WIN down $187.95 on week
Xavier -1 2nd half ($500 to win $454.55) WIN up $266.60 on week
Missouri +1.5 ($250 to win $227.27) WIN up $493.87 on week
Wofford +10 ($250 to win $227.27) WIN up $721.14 on week
Pitt -9.5 ($250 to win $227.27) WIN up $948.41 on week
Siena and Purdue OVER 71 2nd half ($250 to win $227.27) WIN up $1175.68
Wofford +4 2nd half ($250 to win $227.27) WIN up $1402.95
Pitt -3.5 2nd half ($250 to win $227.27) WIN up $1630.22

After this text, local texts him saying you need to make sure you have money for all these bets. This was at 3:56 PM, must have been halftime for wofford and pitt, so guy had a lot of action going, but happen to win them all.

So after the early set of games, my buddy is up $1630.22 going 8-1 early.

He goes on......

Guy texts him after late game and says he is not paying this ridiculous day. He bet too much money for his limit and some of those ML were ridiculous bets and what happened if he lost them.

So they go back and forth and in the end, I guess my friend says he is getting STIFFED of the money he won.

They had a great working relationship never having problems, then BOOM, dude goes 20-3 and had day of his life and gets STIFFED.

Not always better, Sam. If you get stiffed by a local, you lose only your profits for the week. If an offshore book stiffs you, you lose your profits AND all of your initial deposit. Bottom line: Use someone trustworthy!

with bonuses and/or less juice there is no reason to use a local. first off you have the inherent legal problems, if you win big the guy can just say "i don't have to pay you it's illegal and who are you going to tell". and nobody from a reputable book is going to stiff you or show up at your house to collect.

One HUGE reason is lack of a paper trail. If you are a successful bettor, this is important.

It depends on where you live and the depth of your life devoted to gambling, but MOST people do not have access to reliable locals. You may find a local but they are most likely not reliable. The best way to get a local is to know friends who have gambled for over 10 years and know reliable bookies.

Your buddy (eer you) bets way too many games in a day and will eventually be in debt beyond belief.. Maybe now you'll stick to offshore books where you have to post up and only lose what you can come up with..

the guy is out 4k ?? thats simple.. u can hire muscle these days for a few hundo..

back home i know this gorilla that i grew up with.. if i give him between 200-400 bucks depending on the situation.. i can just drop him off at any location and he will turn you into hamburger meat.. no questions.. no words.. u point the guy out or give him a name and address and he just goes to work... I have only witnessed it once.. and it was brutal...

Imagine u are just minding your business .. don't even know or recognize a guy... and then BLAM!!! POP!! BOOM!! you are down...
