When did you start sports online gambling?
A couple questions for members:
1. What year did you start gambling online?
2. How did you find out about it?
3. What was your first sportsbook?
4. Are you still with them?
My answers:
1. Fall of 1999
2. A guy in the dorms told us about it....he said he was winning like crazy which turned out to be false b/c he was betting lines like -600 all the time. A string of losses eventually did him in.
3. Sportsbook.com
4. Absolutely not...they are horrendous. Had several disputes with them. Ultimately I got a big credit from them. I am no longer welcome on their site which is fine by me.

1) I'm honestly not sure of my first on-line account. The first entry in my spreadsheet was a deposit to Pinnacle in early 2003. I probably had on-line stuff going on for at least a year before that (before I got organized) but that's the best answer I have. I was a little slow to the game and clung to my phone accounts for a long time.
2) I think the general idea finally got through my thick skull through the advertising I was receiving from Bowmans and I started investigating seriously at Covers (which I'm sure I just found through a search engine).
3) Started my first phone account at Bowmans, mid-late 80's.
4) I am still with both Pinnacle and Bowmans.

My answers:
1. 1999
2. My uncle from Little Rock, AR told me about it.
3. First book was with betcbs (Casablanca). They were OK. They loved me. I took a major bath in the 1999 college football season.
4. Not with them anymore. I let SBR be my guiding light. If they would get to the B+ level, I'd go back. When I got back in the game about a year ago, Casablanca (I think they are Wagerweb now) offered me a 25% deposit bonus and I turned them down because of their grade on here.

What does me being drunk have to do with anything? I'm plastered. My sobriety - or lack thereof - never affects my levels of man-love for you Pimike. Never.

4. Thanks to SBR freerolls I can fund the account without using my money. Had a big payout problem back in late 2006. I deposited $20 built it up in about 4 weeks to $1500 got lucky playing online poker and moved up limits real fast. They said until my $20 bucks cleared their bank I couldn't cash out a cent. I tried and tried several times and days after. Eventually it was 8 weeks after my deposit and the withdrawal cleared when I had $0 left.
