    Default Ot: Hdtv

man, watching HD signal television is way better than the old tv. there is no way i am going back. just bought a brand new plasma tv, i am regretting why i didn't buy it sooner. watching tiger woods on tv, the grass so realistic. can't wait til nfl starts, then i can see everything in HD.

Oh hell yeah. NFL looks amazing in HD, CBS is probably the best picture I'd say but they're all really nice. I'm never going back to standard def, DirecTV is also planning on implementing a bunch of new HD channels this fall.

HD shows ugly better too that's the only problem.. You can see a lot of people's facial blemishes much better... I ain't down!!! The grass does look fat as f*ck though when I am watching football...

I am going to wait on the 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio before I buy a TV other then a projector.. They have them now but small sizes and it's very new...

Yup. I bought a home theater in a box system, has a HD-DVD player, radio, and surround sound. It's a nice compliment to the big screen TV. I still need to pick up another HDMI wire for the DVD connection.

This is so true, it's also gross watching sweat pour off someone.

i am not talking about low budget productions. those high budget series/movies are way better on HD.

HDTV is a must. I have a hard time watching anything less. I will watch a more crappy match up in HD appose to a better match up in a regular broadcast.

I can't wait until everything is HD or better.
