I went 7-3-1 on unders last season in College Football. Just thought I would add that.

Those totals ranged from 56.5 to 63.5. The three I lost totaled like this, 82, 69 and 89. The ones I won, usually were under 50. So I had good cushions.

Not sure which numbers you are referring to but there were 36 posted totals yesterday.

    18 over
    18 under

Now I'm starting to see the wisdom in never betting the under.

    Two questions durito..

Haven't there been some rule changes implemented recently?

Also do you have this info on a spreadsheet?

My post was at 8:11 last night, a lot of games still going.

The day ended 18-17-1 on my numbers.

That UNDER bet just doesn't perform very well, durito. Make sure you never bet it. It's better to join all the squares who notoriously bet FAVS and OVER.

17-18-1 on my numbers but I gave the OVER lovers the push.

The rules changes are a powerful reason why the UNDER has even more value. Many people have a tendency to overvalue OT situations and clock changes. The books know about them and builds them into the numbers but bettors like to think they have some powerful insight into the secretive world of rule changes and that it will somehow make the OVER a better bet. As the results thus far this season are showing, they don't.

I don't bet overs in College Football, and if I did, it would probably only be on Hawaii games on the Island.

I only bet unders, but a small sample size each season. As you see from above, only bet 11 unders last season.

Couple more NCAA football games, a couple more bad beats for those unlucky OVER bettors.

    0 OVER
    2 UNDER

Will the madness never end? Where are all the OTs? With the clock stopping after every change of possession surely there will be gobs more touchdowns as we go forward.

Hang on a minute. Are you suggesting that the sportsbooks - having their livelihoods depending on accurate lines and having millions of dollars at risk each game - can somehow have more knowledge about rule changes and how they can affect their lines/business than your common or garden $20 bettor?

isetcap, I think you're starting to lose it.

All I know is that I don't care if there are 10 unders in a row...I just can't deal with it when the game is 17-10 and the team trailing has the audacity to score a touchdown and put the game into overtime. When that happens, not only do I lose $20 but I also lose by a lot of points and then people make fun of me on the forum. I'd much rather have the over all the time and then bitch and complain about how I got robbed when all those games didn't quite make it to my number. I'll get em next time...

Some day I'll be a millionaire...
