How can we figure out what's really going on and what the real reasons for line changes are?

One book had it open at 9, the rest at 7 and it is now 6.5
So take the one book out of the equation and what do you have? A line moving a 1/2 point. What is the big deal?

If line moves opposite of what you would think according to public betting it means that books are moving according to Syndicate betting and not the public.

Smart Money was on OK St. from the beginning. The public loves favorites and loves strong teams like Georgia. I really like OK State at +9. I would still take them at +7.5 or higher if it can be found. The value isn't there with 7 and certainly not with 6.5. This should shape up to be a good game. A true test for a somewhat shaky Georgia team.

GA could win the SEC this year. Just like every other year they are loaded with blue-chippers on both sides of the ball. Their QB will have a breakout year and GA will be one of the best offensive teams in the nation if the O-Line matures quickly.
