If you have $5000 and are playing to win, where do you send money this fall?
Pinnacle: $2000 (for reduced juice sides, props and live betting) Olympic: $800 (teasers, props, occasional sides) 5Dimes: $600 (props, occasional sides) WSEX: $800 (live betting, occasional sides) Legendz: $500 (teasers/reduced juice sides)** BetJamaica $500 (reduced juice sides) ** I haven't played at Legendz, but know of no problems with them. Suggestion based on listed odds Don't worry about bonuses. For sportsbook selection, focus on books where you 1. will get paid promptly, and 2. will have no disputes. For betting, focus on winning, not action. If you don't know teaser basic strategy, learn it. If you don't bet props, figure out what a poisson distribution is. If you bet sides, always check 3+ outs (pros routinely check 20+ places). |

I keep the bulk of my money in pinnacle since it's the overall best in my opinion. Any dispute (outside of 1) has ended satisfactorily. I get my money to moneybookers in under 30 minutes (unless they tell me I need to use neteller which for some reason they have done 3 of the last 4 months) despite neteller no longer servicing canadians.
I keep small amounts (usually under 1K) in moneybookers in case I find a weak line to deposit into one of the dozen or so sports books I have an account with. I just put a dime into justbet for that 50% cash bonus ( lines are quick moving there). I have a little in Royal (under 1K) just because there lines are slow. And I want to open a 5 dimes account for props and other reasons. I have never funded my accounts at Cris or betjam but they are there if I want them. |

No ideal distribution for me this year. Let's see how the lower volume during football will affect the books. I'm really curious how sharp the drop-off will be. I'm taking a wait and see approach and am keeping it very simple. My total number of bets could be down as much as 70-80%.

I am unsure about that Dark Horse, I think the good ones that are really good books are going to be alright. If they can find easy ways to fund their accounts which some have done an excellent job by having you send an email to them and then they will give you your best option to deposit into your account. I know that I have had success with Bet Jamaica with them telling me to email them and they will help you with the best option. I don't think volume is going to be way down with the ones that comes up with the best ideas of getting funds to them. If there is a way they will find it. Those ones are the ones that are going to have a very good year, if they make it simple and easy for players to get funds into their accounts.

Being a US player, I say MB, Betjam(for -105 fridays) and 5dimes.
Betjam will usually give me a 15pct reload if I ask nicely ![]() 5dimes has bottomless 20pct bonuses and even if you burn through that, they offer 15pct back on losses. Although if I didn't have a JB account, I would have probably stuffed at least a few grand in there for the 50pct bonus. |

True. It's just not the same healthy industry it was a year ago. And since the books aren't given us any numbers about their financial health, I have to skip on lining up a dozen of books for every best possible bet. For me that issue has become secondary to the question how the industry as a whole will perform. There is no doubt that volume will be down. The only question is by how much.
