sorry , most people would agree that I am mentally ill, and I must say everyone is right . I have seen shrinks for the last 20 years sometimes three times a week. I would be the first person to say if you think you need help , you probably do. The vast amount of people are depressed and what is really ironic, they really don't know why the depresson medicines work , but they do. The brain and its wireing is the most complicated issue taken on by man we really no very little about why certain drugs work, and what drugs are channeled by which connectors and why synapses fire This leads to speculation of the dangers of these meds. Do you know that these medications are nearly 70 percent effective , and the placebos are nearly that succesful. there are kids today that are sad and they are into cutting themselves they have a name for these kids , really sick , they are making thee parents sick. and grandparents are dying from the stress , do you think they care. Back to the shrink for 20 years I WOULD WALK IN AND HE ASKED ME EVERY TIME HOW MANY PEOPLE DID I KILL. AT THAT TIME I WOULD SUGGEST THERE ARE NO LIMITATIONS ON MURDER, he would put his head down and suggest I should see a priest.

those fukkin brain drugs for depresison anxiety etc. are way more dangerous and have long term side effects. people think everything a doctor gives them fixes everything, all perscriptions are just a quick temporary fix... 99% of them all come with side effects that just lead to something. if people with depression or whatever shit they have would just exercise they would find out exercising releases endorphines in the body, take vitamins and have a proper diet im pretty sure there depression would be gone. however everyone thinks popping a pill from the pharmacist is the solution to everything.

Maybe it was the pressure to succed is what put her over the edge. Youth sports are now all about every kid has to try and go pro and practice 12x a week when it should all just be about having fun

Indeed a very sad story.
When something like this touches your life you wonder what else you could have done. I know because I tried everything. I woke up one morning 14 years ago to find my wife dead of an overdose of the very meds that were supposed to help her. The cause of death was ruled an aneurysm, I never told anyone about the empty pill bottles I found on the floor that morning.
She fought her depression like a trooper for the 8 years we were together and probably spent a year and a half of those 8 years hospitalized for varying lengths of time. As the anniversary of her passing approaches in one month, I still wonder what else I could have done. She always loved roses and I will make my annual visit to her grave next month with a dozen red roses. I was blessed to have known her for 10 years, she was a very beautiful person.
May they both RIP.

that's it? no note, no diary, no letters to other people about suicidal thoughts? i read some article once that the majority of people comtemplating suicide leave tons of clues, and this article even started with her mother taking note of a very uncharacteristic conversation about death. and the coach mentioning the 'little cloud'. seems everyone saw the signs but shrugged them off because she had so many positive things going for her. it is sad indeed.

on the other hand, i can't help but think how many other young girls in the softball community they talked about would have absolutely done anything to have that chick's life. talent and brains and she threw it all away for what? everyone should now watch Love Liza.

very sad i lost a friend to suicide about 2yrs ago i still don't know why he did it.
