i clicked the live help feature and got a rep on the chat

they asked for my account number AND password

I can understand asking for the account number but asking for the password too is kinda weird

i kindly declined

anyone else uncomfortable with that?

Not really. That's a safety feature. Someone may know your account number but its unlikely they'll know your password. By asking for both, CRIS is making sure that its really your account.

Senator is right. It's for security, so you have nothing to worry about.

Right, illusion knows all our account numbers. Still though I do prefer live chats where if you are a member you log into the chat rather than them asking

I'm the last person that should be answering this question right now, but I would say as long as you are connected to a secure site like betcris's...then you should be OK...these guys are a good book...
