Why would you make a thread that promotes racism?

I didn't say it's racist I said it promotes racism. I bet there will be racist-type comments in this thread. I'm sorry, I just hate it.

I voted both are true... This DOES NOT apply to everyone but generally I think it's true... If you look around the NFL they must think so too because RB's are GENERALLY black and QB's are GENERALLY white... I coached and I can tell you that I prefered a white guy at QB and kicker but I didn't like a white guy in the back field or at reciever.. Maybe one white guy at reciever but no more... NOW KEEP IN MIND I have broken that rule a few times but generally I agree with it...

Where did DE come from? The top two DE's in sacks last year were white guys, sure black guys are better in general but that is not one of the most dominated positions really

This would indicate, then, that the position of DE probably involves more cerebral ability, more thinking and strategizing, more intellectual agility, than people associate with it.

I am not terribly familiar with the minutiae of football, but I would say that probably whites would be better at positions involving leadership, problem-solving, planning, and abstract thought, while blacks would be better at positions involving raw physical ability. Also, blacks are lazier, so any position where practice confers a particular advantage, you would expect to see more whites, while any position where raw, natural, animalistic ability trumps technique, you would expect to see more blacks.

One sidebar to this though, is blacks with British accents, who are better suited to thinking positions such as QB and DE than blacks with rap accents.

Excellent post, HG.

Seriously. Very well played.

The Whites make great RBs and DEs as long as the primary goal of the team they play for is the colonization and ultimate destruction of ancient civilizations.

The Blacks can never be good QBs because they have to devote too much time to keeping their hoes in check. A famous black once said something to the effect of, "pimping isn't easy". Any Black that isn't a hoerunner is likely focusing his energies on dog contests and everybody knows that dogs aren't a part of the NFL.

Unfortunately most of the people in the NFL like to waste their time by evaluating talent at the individual level. It's really quite silly. Meanwhile, we in the general population are much more savvy because we are able to pigeonhole people in all aspects of life simply by evaluating their race. It's really a great methodology and I would suggest that we should conduct polls of this nature for any calling where race would obviously be influential. Of course, only the big superior minds of the Whites should be allowed to respond.

I would say thats true to some extent. Consider this though. White kids generally have more career opportunities and better schools. Life goes on even if you don't play a pro sport.

The attitude in the ghetto is that if I don't become a pro in some sport, I'm not going to make it. I won't get my bling. So, they play certain sports more often. Doesn't cost much money to play basketball on the playground while your supposed to be in school.

When it comes to education, we have them licked. They put out mastery test scores by town once a year in my local paper. Kids from cities like Hartford, Bridgeport had reading and math scores in the 20's and 30's......while kids from towns like Glastonbury, Avon had scores in the 80's and 90's.

But even when whites, blacks, latins, chinese, aliens etc... find a way to make it out of the ghetto and/or TP, they still seem to mess everything up. See Michael Vick.

People may believe otherwise but whites still have a clear cut advantage in today's world. Sadly, this will not change for a long time.

Blacks are smarter. That's why OJ Simpson got off with no time and Vick will do the same.

Well the better schools is NOT true... I coached at an inner city school for 6 years and a suburben school for 2 years... Guess what ...? I found that 2+2 is 4 at both schools... Can you believe that I thought they taught black kids that it was 5... The material is exactly the same at both schools... The only difference is the enviroment NOT the material... They even use the same text books ain't that some sh*t..?

The other factor is the blacks are usually not as well off and have more to worry about as far as making ends meet... When your brain is in survival mode it's much harder to use it for something else like how to make bombs that can harm parts of the earth.... I think when yoiu are in survival mode the brain is in what is called a reptilian mode but I am not totally sure on that....

The reason for the difference is NOT material... The reason is media of course.... TV and our enviorment make up our programming and what/how we believe about everyday issues... We copy our enviorment to a tee... Where did the word "bling" come from..? The blacks everyday are given empty shells to follow and replicate... Blacks that do make it add to the problem by putting out garbage for the black siociety to copy and the whites get contaminated as well by this... People on the board spend more time talking about sports then important things in life and those same people will likely get on blacks for playing sports as opposed to studying...

Let's turn the tables here.... In this case the whites are now black and the Japs are now white... The same holds true here as well... The white American is better in sports but not as smart/educated... How do you like them apples..?

BTW... it's pimpin' "AIN'T" easy...

Agree 110% with you on the schools. Material is the same but everything else including the quality of the teachers is different. Good point.

I am guessing you mean better when you say different... This is also not totally true either... In the two schools where I coached not only was it not true but in some cases it was the opposite... The inner city school had AT LEAST THREE (there were more) that I can think of right off the top of my head that taught at BOTH the HS and the University... They had Phd's not just a Masters...

This is an example of repeating what society tells you... That and I am sure Bate did not go to an inner city school so the whole mine is better then yours perspective is likely also a factor in his judgement...

hahahahaaa yeeeeeeeeeeeah that's it... Not only that... this is a good example of what I mean when I say the ones that make it ADD to the problem... It is a funny song though...

Society didn't tell me that so please don't speak for me when it comes to what I think and how I feel. My response was to JBC, not you. The overall learning environment is most likely better at schools not located in cities.

By the way, my sister is a teacher with a Master's degree and we have had numerous discussions on the topic.

My sister has her Phd. in elementary ed... My x has her undergrad and working towards her masters.... EVERYDAY I talk to coaches/teachers from schools both in and out of the city... I have known other HS coaches/teachers in Ohio as well... I know more teachers then I want to know... I didn't say the environment is not better I said the material and teaching is the same... The environment at schools outside the city would be better for everything ...much less learning...

But you never held a teaching job and you don't have a degree in teaching? Is that correct?

Yes that is correct... So by you saying that is it safe to assume you have had a teaching job or a degree in teaching..? If not why are you asking..?
