    Default betguardian opinions?

I haven't heard much about this book so I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on them and maybe some payout experiences here? I'm a small rec bettor (average around a $100 a game probably) I think I made maybe one or two bets over $250 last year so the limits isn't an issue for me and they have one free payout a month (which I can live with)... I just hate the thought of betting at full juice (after giving pinnacle 90% of my action last year) and looking for at one option outside matchbook...

It sounds like a good fit for you. We have a test account at Justbet and will get over to Guardian soon. Tradewinds has always been solid for the wagering basics.

I can tell you that in Sept. the Group will have 24 hour CS and they are now aiming to have all evening wagers graded within an hour vs. the next AM. This was in large part due to the feedback of the guys here.

so what happens if you hit them for a max bet? ($250) can you get more down at -110 or do they adjust the number on you?

I chose the -105 juice program. Won very small money there and made like 2 withdraws.

2 ** payout ( i had to pay for the fees myself)
each payout was only $900 and it only took next day to get the control number for **.

Problem was, I had to keep doing livechat to ask for control number instead of when control number was ready, they would email me to get it.

was thinking of signing up there but you can only do a withdrawal over the phone. wtf is up with that? I hate doing transactions over the phone.

    Withdrawal Requests:
Contact customer service Monday through Friday at 1-800-203-3336 or 1-800-490-4290 .
Withdrawal requests must be made via telephone. No email requests will be accepted or processed.
One free withdrawal of $300, or more, per calendar month via cashier's check. Fees apply for subsequent withdrawals, and withdrawals of less than $300, during a calendar month.
Bank wires are available for a fee.
Neteller withdrawals incur a charge of 3% of the transaction amount, up to $30.
Money wire transfers are available, for a fee, and will be available the following day if requested by 2pm PST. Same day wires are no longer available. Fees vary according to the amount of the transfer.

Money is safe imo but completely, totally generic book that does absolutely nothing that one of the better books doesn't do. Cloned, fast-moving 20-cent lines, low limits. My last couple hundred was sitting around in there for months because I couldn't find anything to bet on.

I know it might be a little bit inconvenient treece, however it's safety of funds that counts IMHO.

I feel that Guardian is a very good recreational type book for the $25- $200 type bettor, but if they were just to raise their limits to $500. I think they would attract more clients to there customer base.

Oh, and they made me roll over winnings from the Free Play which is non-standard imo and I had to have a long argument (which I won bc it was simple addition) with customer service about how much I had wagered.

My feedback on Guardian is quite dated—I think it’s been two years or so since I played there—but I’ll offer it up for what it’s worth.

I stopped playing with them for two main reasons. They had a very significant security breach back then that really gave me the willies. However, I never heard anything about it after that—in the fora or privately—so I assume it was a temporary thing that was quickly corrected.

But the second thing is they changed some things that had given them much of their value. One is that, if memory serves me, the –105 lines on the reduced juice used to apply to 1st and 2nd halves as well as the full games, and at some point they changed it to just the full games.

Also, they used to have discounted half point buys around the 3. I believe it was 15 cents (instead of the more common 20 cents or occasionally more) to buy on or off the 3. And making this even more valuable—I’m not sure if they still do this—their ten cent lines didn’t deviate from –105 on each side. That is, they didn’t allow themselves the flexibility of having, say , -3.5 at –120 and +3.5 at +110, or –3 at –110 and +3 at +100. So there were an unusually high number of middle and scalp opportunities with other books on games lined on or near 3.

But once those things changed, I found that even with the reduced juice I rarely bet anything there.

I would also mention—I assume this is still the case—that they had a monstrously long hold of ninety days on your money if you took a bonus. Though they did allow you to take out winnings once you met the rollover, so that softened it some.

played there a little over a year ago, nothing special, lines selection is so so. did not have overnights, full juice, not all the options and at times lines come up late. payouts were quick and they seem to be safe. i don't think they can be a primary out, but not a bad place for some coin
