My first guess is Nicole Kidman.

Given that such classics as porky's, planet of the apes etc have made over 100 million I"m not sure where to start.

That's incorrect...... Batman forever grossed almost 200 million in the states alone. Is this number world wide or US only?

I would guess Meryl Streep. Biggest blockbuster may have been The Deer Hunter.

On second thought, Out of Africa must have passed 100 million.

Not Nicole Kidman either...

I should also mention at one point of her career she was asking for $15 mil a movie..

A shot in the dark.

Sandra Bullock?

I'm not sure if she is "extremely" famous.

Must be Scarlett Johansson. Unless you're thinking of someone even more famous.

I was going to say Sigourney Weaver, but I'm not sure if any of the Alien movies grossed that much.

Helen Mirren? Judi Dench?

Narrow it down, though. Are we talking about a currently famous actress or one from the 1920s when film receipts were nowhere near the size they are now?

How about Jennifer Lopez?

She's never been in a good movie in her life.
