Hello, I am fairly new to online betting community. I have been a sports gambler in the past and now I would like to start with some online sportsbooks. I am thinking I should go with Bodog or TheGreek. Both I have read are very good. However I have heard that Bodog takes very long to get your payouts...sometimes as long as 2 weeks to a month? Whereas the Greek is super quick.


I am just looking for any opinions or advise on this situation. Thanks!

Well, If your considering TheGreek. Then I would suggest that you look into playing at BetJamaica. They are part of the Spiro family of books, and are top notch.

BoDog lines are a little off. Payouts are a little slow at this time but you will get paid. You only need the other books if you are a heavy hitter.

In the current financial climate I don't see what bodog offers anyone.

They used to be great for a recreational player that wanted to deposit $200 on thursday bet a few games and withdraw on monday. Those days are over.

Check out Doc's. He use to have a promo post up $100 at BoDog and receive an extra $100.

I'm not sure if he'll have this again or if someone else does but it use to be up at this time of the year.

BetJamaica is a much better choice than Bodog for a recreational player.

Take a look at BetJM or 5dimes before Bodog.

I can't believe anyone would advise BoDog. Just use Betjamaica. They are very solid. You'll have a much more pleasant sports gaming experience with them than with BoDog.....

It's been that way for quite some time now I do believe Raiders.

mainly nfl football better...mainly bet 2/3 games straight spread each sunday...betting anywhere from 100-1000 per game.

maybe a parlay each sunday too 3/4 teams. but I'm pretty random also....I occassionally bet on baseball and basketball too. thanks for everyones help, you guys have been great. Thanks.

If you do not bet until game day, 5 Dimes is the choice for you with -105 odds on game days. If you prefer to bet weekend football games during the week, I would go with BetJamaica in a heartbeat over Bodog.
