No, what you chose to do instead of making your product better and create promos to lure posters away from competitors is to impose a tax tariff to competitors like the US government tried to impose on foreign manufactured steel to keep local mills busy. Pavy,
Stop with the product this and product that as if youre talking about a real industry on its own...or comparing us with real-money fully staffed sportsbooks. It's an automated software platform like a contest site, that gives you one more option to use your free points. What other "product" was helping you pool loyalty points to send thousands to Haiti? I'm all for good feedback and suggestions like what to add in our sportsbook but your constant scrutinizing is what other sites point to when they say giving back to the existing users is not a good investment for growing the site. If you aren't enjoying what's offered at SBR, do us a favor and move on.

Pavy was so happy when he bet all his points and the Cowboys ML...he went and told his wife he just won a camera and a pizza for their anniversary

When people criticize me I don't tell them to move on. You have made a decision that is obviously wrong. 80% of posters voted they don't like this system. Did you expect there was not going to be a backlash from posters from this decision? This is a fair trade. You give me 7 points everyday (worth approximately $1) and I give you 7 hours of my time by posting and building up your traffic volume. Now it is my choice to bet my points wherever I want to. It was your decision to introduce the points system and not mine. I was posting with the same frequency before the points system started and never asked to be given anything for free. If you don't want me to post here ban me. But I have the right to express my opinion. I gave you some ideas on how to improve your points book but you told me to move on if I don't like it. So unless you ban me you will have to learn how to coexist with me or don't read my posts if you find them wasteful.

Your scrutinizing in almost every SBR thread is relentless and comes with few new ideas. You simply are not very nice... at least as a poster. My guess is you didn't walk around the SBR Bash telling staff that we should have served stuff shrimp instead of fish or the choice to serve Grey Goose instead of Belvedere was wrong. I think you probably enjoy the debate more than you are actually unpleased with how we give you free stuff. If you consider yourself paid for what you perceive to be "building traffic" you'll never be happy and our threads will never be as good as if you weren't in them.

Pavy when i told you that the soccer lines were no good you told me it was okay because we all have the same issue.

I would rather play at the sbr book cause they let me bet thousands of points at once. NO offense to any of the poster books but 80 point limits dont cut it for me. Yes they have some bad lines but you can catch them napping some times as well.

They limit me at 500 a bet. Otherwise I could've made a lot more from the SBR book than I did.

In any case, with live betting axed months ago and the lack of options (soccer and tennis specifically) in the SBR Book, I'm left with nowhere to bet.

In the past, with poster books, I could make the same bet at several poster books with a reasonable line (as opposed to the SBR Book's juiced up lines) and make a bet of over 200 points that way.

500 for soccer yes . Do they limit you to 500 on everything or just soccer and tennis? I bet 1700 points on a NBA spread the other day.

I am happy with the generous 7 points SBR gives me every day. I never asked for them to begin with and I have donated many of my points so far. I have only ordered two pizzas so far for my kids and have donated the rest of my points to charity. I gave a bunch to the Haiti Relief fund and St.Jude's and purchased giftcards from Target which me and my wife bought clothing for a local shelter. As far as the points value I don't need them but I thought to do something good with them since they are given for free. I have said many times I was greatful for SBR for having the Bash in many threads and gave high remarks for being so generous to the posters who attended. So when SBR does a very good job I always praise them. But when arrogant people tell me that I should be happy SBR gives me the 7 points for free and if I don't like it to move on it hits a nerve on me. I never asked to be given points. You chose to give them to me. You can ban me getting any points. It wouldn't affect my posting. When I see something wrong I will tell you how I feel. But I'm not a quitter. Just because you don't agree with what I say you don't have the right to tell me to move on. I never told you to quit or leave your job when I disagreed with you. Your job is to make posters happy. Part of the job will have criticism good and bad. If you want to hear only good criticism pay more points to the ones you want praise from. But you can't buy people's opinions like my self no matter how hard you try.

Pavyracer is not for sale. I have morals.

oh, you're right. I don't bet basketball at the SBR Book.

My big bets were live betting for the few weeks it was running, tennis, and hockey (500 point limit betting on the Olympics).

Pavy, there have been rare occassions where I haven't understood you or even disagreed with you but as I said they have been rare. This certainly is not one of those times. I agree 100% with you here. As someone who loves and I stress LOVES SBR and appreciates those "free" points they give out even though I have never once used them to purchase anything. Oh I have joined a few non-sportsbook related contest and I have wagered a few hundred in the SBR Sportsbook but the overwhelming majority of the points I have obtained I have freely given away to others. This will continue even with this silly taxation that has been implimented because I don't care about the points.

Just wanted to say that I for one support you and applaud you for always taking a stance right or wrong (in this case I feel right) and sticking to your core values in doing so. Even in your most nagative outburst I would far rather someone like you and others like you be a focal point than the mindnumbing kiss ass post around here. You know those types are either being compensated or are being insincere.

Bill you'd have better luck talking to a wall; this guy has 20,000+ posts and 99.9% of them are from a pissed off bitter over the hill middle aged man. Thank you for giving me free stuff to post at the forum.
