I'm thinking about joining BetPOP, no better place than SBR to find out how safe they are..

Anyone heard anything positive or negative about them?

BetPop is part of the First Fidelity family and they have an SRB rating of a "B-" currently IMG. They really aren't a forum type hyped book at all, but they are pretty solid IMO.

They have been around a long time. B- sounds a little low. They do have some aggressive marketing with cold calls and reminders your balance is getting low. And they not very friendly to sharp action. But otherwise a pretty good book imo.

when the shit hit the fan about 7 months ago they closed my account and send me a check within 24 hours. no problems here. wish i could have them back.

I wish they would send emails instead. Nothing personalized, just random crap from time to time, that should get the point across. The first time they called I didn't mind so much, since the guy was kissing my ass and offering me whatever sort of incentive. But after that it got annoying.
