6 cars. The first was a very beat-up Datsun B210. I don't remember the exact year although I gave it a name which I remember very well: Mudcar.

I'd guess it was about a '75.

(For the very young, Datsun was what they were called before they started calling them Nissan.)

I have had about 10 all used and all at least 15 years from the original birth of the car. I do not get ripped off buying new shit. All cars function the same , purpose is to go from point A to point B.

8 all total. First Car I drove was a 72 buick skylark which was sweet, I won't say how fast it was capable of going but the speedometer ran out at 120 MPH and I had it buried past that. First Car I owned was a 72 AMC Hornet.

4 Cars. First was a Chevy Cavalier brand new in 1993. I know some kid in highschool who had a brand new vette but worked 80 hours a week to pay for it. Let's just say that good grades and college were not in his future.

Cars are a waste of money.

1st car 5 years ago when 18 was a '93 Honda Civic that my sister gave me. Had 170,000 miles when I got it.

Then two years ago bought a '97 Toyota Corolla from my dad that now has 150,000 and runs and looks like brand new.

Buying used Japaneese car's is the way to go.
Typically last about 250,000 miles. Much longer if well maintained.
