    Default bookmaker complaints

Are there any books out there that no one has a complaint about,no payout problems,no scams on fees, limits etc

I guess you won't find them on earth.
But nevertheless there are books which only cause very few problems and have rather high limits. Here is a mix of several books/exchanges I like which are useful for different kinds of sports:

    us-sports:
    - Pinnacle (simply the best here)
    - BetCris (early lines)
    - TheGreek (I still recommend them in general even if I had that
    cancelled bet problem)
    - Canbet (also good in soccer as they copy odds of s-b-o-b-e-t)
    - Intertops (limits but has interesting odds)

    soccer:
    - s-b-o-b-e-t
    - ibcbet (these two are the best soccer books arround)
    - Mansion88 (for soccer bettors who feel more secure with
the financial background of Mansion )

    other european sports:
    - Centrebet (very good book IMO)
    - Expekt (good as long you are not too much limited)
    - Betathome (limits but it lasts a while and there are some clone
    sites)

    exchanges:
    - Betfair (highest volume but bad customer support and high
    fees)
    - Mansion (not as good as before but still useful)
    - Betdaq
    - Betsson (offers soccer half time betting)
    - MatchMyWager (1% commission for former Pointbet customers)
    - Matchbook

Do SBO & IBC accept Americans to your knowledge? I'm on the SBO site and can't find a link to even attempt to sign up.

I have never heared that the asian books exclude us-american players but I don't know it for sure. Just ask the customer service. Anyway you need to contact the customer service to open an account. Soon at least s-b-o-b-e-t will offer Moneybookers (besides wire) to fund the account.
Another posibility is to contact an agent who will create an account for you (there you can already use Moneybookers).

    SBO
    IBC
    Crown
Royal (the Asian one NOT that crappy op from Costa Rica)
    188bet
All reputable books that accept Americans.
    Mansion88 don't accept 'em.

Agents are the way to go with Asian books but never just pick somebody off the net, you'll just be asking for trouble. Network your way around and find someone to refer you, it's much safer for you, the agent, and the book.

I don't know much about the Asian one, but this guy is right on with his assessment of the Costa Rican Royal

Their odds are sometimes moving slowly and opposite to other slow books they take rather high stakes and at least from my own experience always pay out fast without any problems.

For example yesterday night I got odds there for 'Köln against Bayern München' of 5.60 and for the draw 3.6 - and for 'Hannover against Real Madrid' of 5.50 and for the draw 3.65. Then the same again with their good odds for double chance...

Since this is quickly developing into a soccer thread, I'll post this question here.

Does Pinny know something we don't?

    Tue 7/31 625 Derby County * -1.5 and -2 -105
    11:44 AM 626 Mansfield Town * +1.5 and +2 -103

I mean these teams are NOT playing each other today....right?

I only know that other books say Derby County would play against Nottingham this evening. But I didn't seek for more information.

    IBC ah\\have following clause

"If an account is inactive for 12 months or longer, ibcbet.com reserves the right to forfeit the outstanding balance."

I had a bad experence with a book with a similar clause so wont use any book that says this now

I also don't like rules like that but as I place bets there every day it's really no problem for me.
