I just got a strange message from Pinnacle as I tried to bet on a soccer line of a minor soccer league:

The last part of the message is new to me: I always thought if I placed a bet with Pinnacle I can place a bet on the same event again without the first bet having any influence on the limit for the second bet...

Maybe the explanation is that odds had not changed after my first bet because I had only placed a very small amount.

that has happened to me before on some tour de france bets, russian soccer bets where the limit is around 100 US. For the most part if you max out the bet the line will move so you can bet it again. It becomes a question of how much the line moves as to whether it is worth a bet again.

Yes, it should be kind of a test if I can get a higher over all limit without to get lower odds if I only place a small amount of money first and then bet again. But now I know that if the first bet is too small too change the odds I cannot bet again (or at least not so much that I get a higher over all stake for these odds).

Like vanman said kiwi the odds just have to change before you can pop it again. They generally do this for smaller events or matches they are not confidant about (for reasons such as injuries, etc.) to gauge the line. As it becomes closer to gametime the odds typically increase. GL with your play mate...
