Default Voiding winning wager due to being a "bad line."

    BetUS has done this.

Are there similar examples among A- or B-rated books in the last couple years?

Even highly rated books are not immune. However, if it is after the event, a book will only cancel it if it is egregious. +240 when market was +200, a good book will eat it. +2000 when market was +200, they usually catch it before the game starts... If they don't, they would cancel it.

Clearly just a shot being taken by the book. If its after the game then its a winner. Plain and simple.

The top books void bets made into bad lines before the games start, rather than waiting for the result. Regardless, bettors should never bet into obviously bad lines, pure and simple. They have nothing to gain by doing so, and everything to lose by possibly being banned by the book. Anyone that bets a bad line and then expects to get paid if it wins is dilusional.

    Many bad lines go undetected.

I had one at Betus once, $2k push instead of a loss.

Betus not a good book...................the only thing they eat is chit. Just a fast add.................did anyone ever look at their rules. They must be 15 pages long, giving them primarily the right to do anything they pleae with your bets & your $$. Most everything is at their discretion.

most of the time it's the other way around.

Some top books give you the choice of accepting the winning wager on a bad line. If you do accept the winnings then they'll boot you. Pinny has done this.
