It did dip to 50p at one time. I thought it would have come back at 30p or so. Surprised it held up so well
Good news that it is back trading though

BBD,
I hope you're right.
I don't have as much money tied up in neteller as a lot of guys, but it's my money and I'd like it back.

The impression I get from neteller is that we shouldn't expect to get our money too quickly. They seem to keep emphasizing that they have hundreds of thousands of customers they need to pay. They earned over $3,000,000 in interest on our money from the time they froze it until now. They have a lot of incentive to take thier time with these payouts.

Perhaps their payment schedule will start with the smallest balances for withdrawal first..that way they can hold onto the big bucks longer.... positive news though... many people with $$$ tied up for some time now

I think best case scenario is they release a payment schedule. In 5 days we may know the day the money will be released. I doubt they flip the switch for withdrawals in 5 days but hope I am wrong.

63p is probably a fair valuation of the company considering 1 year ago it peaked at 442.5p and in October 2006 it dropped to 140p.
p = pence (approx 2 U.S. cents).
Have to think it's remaining business is much less valuable than before it's troubles.

Do you really believe this?
Do you think that the issues with paying Americans are to do with:
a) Neteller themselves (bearing in mind that they paid the Canadian players swiftly and they've been paying the European players regularly and with no trouble)
b) The problems caused by the US government
Anyone who thinks that Neteller are a scam really need a class in Life 101. Neteller co-operated with the US government fir 6t months and have now seemingly got their business back to sorts by paying all but the non-American players and getting a re-admittance to the LSE. Compare that to BoS who haven't paid a penny in nearly a year.

agreed that neteller isn't a complete group of scammers such as BOS, but they are still scammers...this is all a bunch of bullshit and U.S. customers will not get paid...

Assuming you read my post in reply to marc, then why? Is the answer a) or b). Read the post carefully and answer.

Taco, both you and I know the correct answer is B. I'm just wishing I'd bought up the balances of a few american players at 50 cents to the buck. I'm sure a few would have sold and I'd be getting the coin shortly. When Neteller pulled out of Canada everything went very smooth as far as I am concerned.

After a quick glance at their numbers, revenue will be down 70-75% due to the loss of US and Canadian business. Ouch thats got to hurt.

A lot of U.S. customers will always blame Neteller no matter what anyone says. They will say that the U.S. gov't is partly to blame (not partly but 100% in my opinion) and then enthusiasticly and loudly bash Neteller. Understandable but sad that Frist and Kyl barely get a mention but always a "FU Neteller this and FU Neteller that" all the time.

They will never come back to Canada. I'm still bitter that they left in the first place.

pags just can't get over the 5% he had to pay to this Canadian. He'd preffer to just request money directly from Neteller the usual way and save his little fortune of $50.

There is no problem with Neteller except in exactly one country. The problem is not Neteller; there is something unusual going on in that country.
So let's see. Has anything unusual happened in the U.S. with regard to on-line gaming in the last year or so? Hmmm . . .
I don't know if Americans will get paid or not. I would lean strongly towards yes. But if not, it is American elected officials who are to blame.
