    Default Sportsbook.com

I was stupid and picked a sportsbook without first researching it. After numerous heated telephone conversations with sportsbook.com clerks, I've received $0.20 in my bank account. Tried unsuccessfully to obtain an address from this company. Does anyone have an address for these schmucks? Btw, I think their rating should be changed to D- or lower.

If you're having a problem with them, you can send the details to Bill Dozer at assistance@sportsbookreview.com

For what it's worth, I've always found the CS pretty good there.

Hopefully, one day they may put the zeros on the other side of the decimal with a few commas in between... i.e. 20,000,000.00.

Depends on who recommends it. I've seen people and websites hawk some shitty books.

what im trying to say is its not completely your fault if your friend says "i use sportsbook.com" so then you join it because your friend uses it...

its better than just joining a sportsbook randomly without any research or anything.

I'd love to hear this story. I'm guessing they sent you the 20 cents because you registered your checking account with them.

Sure, I hear you. But you've still got to be careful with how much of a handle they have on the industry as well.

I had a friend who found BetRoyal by accident and that's where he sent people. That is, until he tried to send me there.

    I get your point, though.

When I started screaming Better Business Bureau, I finally got results. I received $700 of my money by FedEx today and the rest is on it's way (at least that's what the letter says). I won't do business with sportsbook.com again.

I am really not sure why people continue to play with this book....there is really nothing that would entice me to play there. I hope SBR downgrades them to an F or so....the grade they actually deserve.

    Trey,

I'm not sure what transpired, but I can assure you that it had nothing to do with the Better Business Bureau.

    Buddybear,

People play there because they have the best bonuses out there. You can withdraw as much as you wnat. No daily, weekly or monthly limits. No clerk asking you why you want to withdraw. In some ways the lack of cs can be used to your advanatge.

Indeed, marc. There are a number of reasons to play with them. Conversely there are a number of reasons not to play with them. It's that good old risk/reward ratio.

I am a little suprised myself Taco considering you are aware of their reputation....as they say, "forewarned is forearmed."

Your right...we all have to make our own assessment of what's good and bad so if you play there good luck Taco!

Like I said, it's all about risk/reward - there are a number of very good reasons to play there and I've personally never had a problem. I don't think they're in the area of "scam books", rather I think that their corporate nature makes their management take some bad decisions.

I know that you're a big fan of SIA and you were more than happy to play there when they were a D+ book and their SBR rating now is in the same range as sportsbook.com. You see the benefits in SIA, I seek the benefits in sportsbook.com - there's not a lot of difference there.

SIA is up to a C now...and I suspect they will be moving up more. I play at SIA simply b/c of the lines and no other reason...the lines are always shaded. Never had a problem with SIA....good people.

Well we both have to make our risk/rewads...if ur comfortable with sportsbook then go for it!

    tacomax,

I see your point...to me though, the only thing separating the "scam books" and sportsbook.com is a bunch of money and Brooke Burke's boobs...

Yeah, Brooke probably had something to do with my joining sportsbook.com. I also liked the parlay odds. Still waiting on the rest of my money btw. Now they're saying that it's my fault it's taking so long. When they wouldn't cough up the dough through EFT (except for 20 damn cents), I told them to send me a check by Fedex. So now it's my fault because I "changed my withdrawal method." It's getting tough to keep my cool when talking to these punks.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good sportsbook with decent parlay odds? I also want someplace with an 800 number, not some overseas number or "email only" communication.
