Default Silly Question - Any Cascade Updates?

Last I read, Lenny and crew were supposed to have to new developments in July to enable them to continue business. Has anyone heard further on this?

Also, I logged in today to wave "hi" to my locked up $$ , and now they have some new software that I have not seen at other books. Maybe this "improvement" is part of a buyout in progress?

Any new info is appreciated!

I don't know how much money you are talking about, but if you know where these people have their office, I would just go there and "explain" that they were going to pay my my money or they weren't going to like what happened next.

I do not think Cascade is a book you want to be in right now, we need to know more.

I was bored so I just called today to request a withdraw. I got transfered to two different guys and then finally to Lenny. He says that withdraws are not possible until August. I told him it was a emergency and I need a measly $1000. He said to call him at the end of the week.

You ever notice how some of JJ's posts sound like maybe they were taken from a "Magic 8 Ball"?

Their site now goes to register.com, so I just called Lenny, they are upgrading and there is a temporary website where you can log in:

http://www.vrapo.com/

As far as payouts, "end of the month" once more.

I would rather see him pay the people that are owed money rather than spend it on website updates. It's just sickening how we are all being played as his little bitches.

"sickening" is certainly the word.

The problem with being a stiff is some people just get used to it. Was there ever any honor with Lenny? Where are the partial payments? Stiffs don't send partial payments, they just stiff.

Good points and questions John, but you can just go by and see Lenny and maybe get some answers?! You and Bill are right around the corner--right?

Would be nice for you guys to report what you are hearing from the horses mouth. One way or the other--the truth abt this is better than the uncertainty.

We have spoken to him. More excuses and no money. We have made it very clear that without some attempt at partial payments he is just another stiff. For now, he is just another stiff. It was him who told everyone he will begin payments in July. Its now August: Stiff.

I am sure with payment solution options this year it would be tough to get new customers anyway. Doesnt look good.

SBR_John, any idea what's realy going on there?
If he was going to stiff everybody, I think it's weird he's still answering the phone and upgrading his website.

Default Fraud

At what point does what Lenny is doing constitute Fraud and cybercrime. He lies his website is all about lies and he continues to operate.

Why not just dissapear from the face of the earth?

Lenny wants to give everyone a chance to gamble and lose their balances. This way he can say that he never stiffed anyone.

He also wants to get football deposits in - As stated in a previous post my guess is he is going to attempt to continue to operate for football season - if he happens to be able to be succesful (long shot) then he might start paying people, if not then he will pack up and leave with a lot more money in his pocket than he has now. It is very profitable to run a gambling site and never pay anyone.

He still deals credit bookmaking which I assume is profitable.

We have seen plenty of bookmakers flat line over the years. Jazz Sports went broke and steadily paid everyone and now are back to their prior rating and in good standing.

Lenny has to decide if he is indeed a stiff. He has the ability to make payments but simply refuses to. There is really not much more I can add.

Have any non-paying sportsbook operators ever been "taken care of" by people they owed money?

I'm sorry but we can not do that. I understand your frustration. We have employees with famlies living in the same area in Costa Rica. Plus, we are sworn not to release info like that as a professional organization. Not what you want to hear but thats the way it is.

This might be a good spot for a smaller site like roberto at tow to try to make a name.

You can bet Lennys operation is following this thread. Lenny doesnt want to be a stiff but he doesnt want to cough up some money to get the payments started either. So we are at a stand off.

I understand your reluctance to "dime him out", since I know what you know:

a bad accident in CR only costs 1k!! And considering what he owes--that collection plate passed would be filled fast.

should we all hire some collection group track him down and deal with them they can get 50% and we get 50% of whatever they can collect. My self I have 4k there now and I willing to get 2k anytime.

Default Its about time

When it becomes apparant he is not going to pay anyone and he continues to operate his site. Continously calling his betting line before NFL game starts and at halftimes could tie up his phone lines. Also continuous sending of emails could fill up his mail server, also getting everyone you can to go to his website prior to NFL games and halftimes and continuously updating lines could tie up his web server. Not recommending this at this point, but it is time for Lenny to come clean with his customers and at least start partial payments and setup payment plans, enough of this I will pay you next week stuff.
