Default The only books I'm considering posting up with for the upcoming football season...

matchbook (will probably give them about 75% of my action)
bookmaker (early lines on Sunday afternoon)
betjam (just a damn solid book)
wsex (probably the most solid book out there)
legendz (highly underrated in my opinion)

    feel free to comment...

Throw in TheGreek and substitute 5Dimes for Legendz and you've got my arsenal going into the year....

I bought a program called Win Risk Free, it gives me the lines at a couple of dozen books. I was thinking about opening accounts at all the ones that are consistently the best odds.

What Win Risk Free does is show you the odds for all the baseball games that have not started yet ranked by the "best" odds for that type of bet. You can then click on the bet and see all the odds for all the bookmakers. You can then click a specific bookmaker and go to their web site.

On big dogs sometimes you see large disparity between the "best" odds and the next best.

I'm wondering if the better odds are worth the extra hassle to have all these accounts.

I know on a bet I made today that I got at 170, I could have made the same bet at the "best" bookmaker for 205. This happpens all the time.

    Any thoughts?

I want to add that I have Googled these books online and I see lots of "stay away from them, they are crooks" type comments, but then I see people on here praise the same bookmakers. So, I am wondering if the review sites online are useless or just what is going on. I saw Pinnacle rated somewhere as an F, but lots of people swear by it.

The Greek is almost always the bookmaker with the best odds on my WinRiskFree screen.

    bigbollucks,

    that's a good list bro..

    coach,

also like your list as well...

    austin,

they are your basic vanilla book, but they've never given me any problems...so more by process of elimination with these other problem books, they've remained in my top 5...

Maybe if you're laying a lot of wood... I'm guessing that it doesn't have Matchbook lines...

You know that SBR Odds gives you that for free, right? (click on live lines at top of page).

Matchbook will have the best prices consistently. But they have no props, few halves, and no quarters. I don't know of any books that offer reduced juice on props, so probably will end up playing those with the Greek. For live games I'll take WSEX over Tradesports. I decided to pass on Betonline, but may give Canbet some action (using a foreign address).

No scalping for me this year. Football season could prove to be the litmus test for many books that have hung in there since January, so if the action isn't as they hoped for this could be when lesser books go under.

No, it just has bookmaker sites, no match sites. A friend of mine told me to concentrate on being able to pick winning teams, because if I can't do that it won't matter what the odds are or how many sites I can bet on. So, I have just been betting on one site.

Here are the sites that Win Risk Free shows. Win Risk does not endorse any of these sites, they just report the odds from them. I'm not sure if these abbreviations are unique to Win Risk Free or if they are well known. I think for most of the bookmakers you can figure out the real name from the abbreviation. Personally, I use Bet Royal.
    PINCL
    BETG
    BETROYAL
    BETWIN
    BODOG
    CANBET
    CORAL
    CRIS
    EASYB
    EXPEKT
    GMBK
    GREEK
    HOLLYWOOD
    INTER
    INTWET
    MANSN
    PLAYIT
    SBTING
    SPBK
    SPINTR
    SPTBET
    SPUSA
    UNIBET
    VIPS
    VWAGER
    WILHIL
    WSEX
    WWTS

If you play those best odds, you'll lose more than you win (Spirolean).
