What do you see in bookmaker? They tried to nickel and dime on players any chance they get.

Pags there have been several people on here who have said they've been informed that the free point withdrawals only apply to losing bettors. It was a comical thread that I'll try to find.

In my opinion CRIS and Bookmaker might stand #1 for customer gouging at the moment, as both their book transfer and withdrawal fees have become outrageous. That said you can't beat higher limits early in the week....

    freebie,

my only interested with bookmaker is their early Sunday afternoon lines for NCAAF, especially after week 3...

    bigbullocks,

thanks for that info...regardless of how much I bet, I refuse to pay fees for withdrawing and depositing money, theres just no reason for that with all of the books that offer once a mothe free payouts...

    Pags,

Doesn't greek offers the same thing with early lines?
Or does bookmaker (cris) offers early lines before thegreek?

Beat the Prick seems to be the only reason to have them in the arsenal..

    freebie,

pinnacle and bookmaker are the only two books to offer Sunday afternoon NCAAF lines for the next week...the greek puts them up at least a couple of hours later, sometimes not until early Monday morning I believe (correct me if I'm wrong)

    austin,

you know me bud, the majority of my action is with matchbook...

    imgv,

this year, you don't even need a bookmaker account to participate in BTP...

Really? Is there a thread that mentions this?

How is SBR going to confirm accounts?

The free payout is a bait-and-switch. It falsely assures players ('idiot victims' in CRIS parlance) that they don't have to get raped by $60 withdrawal fees, but anyone in a position to redeem their points is deemed ineligible.

that's your understanding of it as well rickysteve too?...I've heard this from several relaible posters across the net...I'd rather play at betjam, than have to pay $60...no matter how much you bet, you should not have to pay to deposit or withdraw funds from your accounts boys...period...anyone else with any personal experience regarding this situation, please post it...

I have the exact same opinion with regard to transaction fees. The vigorish we pay is more than plenty to keep these greedy assholes in their shiny new Cadillacs. Not to mention the fact we're floating them free capital from which tremendous interest income can be derived.

I should consider myself extremely lucky I guess. I think I've made 2 deposits of $100 each there, and made 2 withdrawals totalling about $990. Each time I was able to use betpoints and had the check in my hands the next day. As you can tell, my plays are small, maybe that is why. When I called Wednesday, I was so sure they were going to charge me I had the chick repeat herself twice to confirm that I was hearing her right!

just got off the phone with a CS rep...what it comes down to is this...if you are up lifetime with bookmaker, chances are your request for a free payout using betpoints will be denied by management...if you are down lifetime with bookmaker, your request will probably honored...

that's what I don't understand about my experience, but whatever. I took all but $75 out and have like $60 in baseball futures, so it'll be a while until I have to worry about it again.

It's a shame for them, now is the time people are looking for books, and if they don't offer solid payout options, they will feel it.

I just don't understand why places choose to treat customers like this. People aren't stupid, they'll go to a great book like BetJam where they go the extra mile.

Other than early lines, why stay there?

Also, as I've said many times before, those 'free' payouts actually cost $28.13+ in freeplay equity.

you are exactly right spliff...I'm willing to wait the extra hour or so on Sundays for BetJam to come out with their lines...I'll be playing with a book with free payouts once a month and better CS...this behavior will turn many players, that truly do their homework, away...
