What is JJ referred to as "coach"?
I have been here two years----and I have seen JJ called "coach" countless times.
I have no idea why.

He coaches baseball.
He's a good 3rd base coach - he made a couple of videos about it. I don't have time to look for them now.
I heard that he got involved because he thought he could make money betting on little league and high school baseball games if he was an insider, but some 14-year old bookie ended up cleaning him out. So not sure if he still coaches. But you can see in the videos that he's a natural. He's like Bear Bryant, Vince Lombardi, Connie Mack, and Tony Larussa all rolled into one.

coach like the bartender on cheers his name was nick callasntro he was my uncle , they called him nicky boots, he left my brother all his money and the checks still keep coming in for the old shows 4000 dollars per week, at the high point was 7000 dollars not bad and I dont see a penny thanks uncle nicky but I will call you coach jj.

In some cases and I think it applies here sometimes a coach can teach us what not to do rather than what to do.
With this in mind JJ could have easily been given the nickname "Professor".
