    Default Bodog...?

Ok, I see that many of you on here are not big fans of Bodog.com. However, that is the only sports book I am very familiar with. I am just curious as to what the major objections are.

    Are they:
    1. Slow pay-outs
    2. Bad/Stale odds and lines
    3. Dont like Clavin Ayre "taunting" the U.S.
    4. Withdrawl and deposit methods (Using companies like NUCharge leave you open to be placed on a list accessible to the DOJ...?)

    Just curious....please share.

    Thanks

    1) Most places pay out a lot slow than they used to do.

    2) It has always been the case. But remember, a stale line on one side is a damn good line on the other side.

    3) The US isn't going after gambling because of him. Having said that, him taunting them does not do a lot of favours for the industry but if he can taunt them and get away with it then all credit to him.

    4) There are limited options to deposit/withdraw these days. These places have got to stay in business, so they offer alternatives. If these places are accessable by any government department then that shouldn't be a problem as long as you declare your earnings from gambling. The government are going for the gambling establishments rather than the individual gamblers.

Line posted WAY too late, sometimes around NOON ET gamedays!

Too many "circled" games, especially totals.

Yes you can get extra half-point a lot of times, but those are at -115 90% of the time.

The slow payouts are very discouraging and probably will be the downfall of Bodog USA. I've enjoyed wagering on this sight for about 5 years now, but will close up shop and head somewhere else..
Still waiting on a payout that is about 3 weeks old.. yawn... They do disclose that your payout will take up to 30 business days, but this is after the fact. They should disclose this upfront.
Stay away from everything else but the sports bets.. I found their props to be the best. The poker is rigged for maximum action, which is just hillarious if you know odds on hands.. everything else on their sight is birthday-party bull sh**.
    see ya bdog..
I also find it funny that they are rated an - A - . SBR must be getting some nice kick backs, which is understandable in business. Makes SBR look even less reputable..

Taco- Do you just copy/paste all your answers. How the hell would you know about a payout. I'm sure you're an expert on deposits. BoDog still accepts echecks and you can get paid by check.

LT I've noticed on SBRLines that Bodogs lines are up shortly after the big boys in most sports. We have complained, or did complain about late lines since we started SBRLines 3 years ago. They are doing a lot better on that.

They deal dual lines. Low limits.

I wouldn't want to be in a position where I had to bet that #4 will always be the case. Their are more people in prison in the US now for minor drug offenses as a user making small purchases for their own use then the total number of people in the gulag archipelago at the height of the Stalin era.

It is only a matter of time before they do the same thing to online gamblers.

MY only problem with Bodog.com are these situations...

(#1).. NO re-load bonus.. would be nice to get a 10-15% bonus on re-loads..

(#2).. Sort of slow pays... I dont have a problem waiting for awhile as long as the payouts are obtained by me... so far no problems..

(#3).. Long wait times on the *************** to clear..

Other than that I really do like Bodog.... I have had NO problem picking up the phone and requesting a larger limit play.. I do have to give them credit for their customer service and their wagering department as they are always able to let me play for higher amounts.

And no I do not work for Bodog... IF Bodog.com improves the above listed items, in my opinion, they would be the #1 Sportsbook! Hands down! Like their web site, ALWAYS have tons of soccer wagers, no other sportsbook has so many soccer and tennis lines... MLB lines are the same as WSEX, Caribsports.. No complaints here..

How do you think Calvin became a billionaire though. He focused his energy on recruiting the squares, and keeping the pro's out. Which was a very good game plan on his part IMO. Dealing dual lines are just the nature of the business.
