    Default Aplussportsbook

Surprised that these guys haven't got a rating, even more surprised that they're not on the Recommended List. Look what John has to say about them:

    http://www.aplussportsbook.com/helpc...on=about_intro

“To say that APlusSportsbook is a leader in the offshore business is an understatement. This is the place where all lines start. Most books will not even open a line until APlusSportsbook has established the number. This is where professional players play. In a day where successful players find that their limits are cut for winning too much, players can win without limit at APlusSportsbook and get paid with a smile into the millions of dollars. For just about as long as there has been offshore wagering, there has been APlusSportsbook. This is a very large and established operation that is best suited for the sophisticated player as well as large recreational players...”

Hmmm - Looks a little bit like the Betcris review to me. Come to think of it, the site is a little Cris-esque.

Either it is a betcris affiliate or they swiped the above quotes from CRIS. This is from the Cris website:

In 1985 CRIS opened the world’s first offshore sports book in the Dominican Republic. Designed as a simple call center for customers to place sports wagers, this innovative idea was the start of the billion dollar sports betting industry that we see today. The gaming community quickly took notice and our reputation continued to grow.

Always first sportsbook to post lines, the phrase “Where the line originates” was born, attracting the world’s sharpest and biggest players. Soon every line service, Las Vegas sports book, and bookmaker depended upon us to create a market place for sports bettors all over the world.

In 1993 we were the first sportsbook to relocate to Costa Rica and over the next decade many more followed. We are now known as Costa Rica International Sports (CRIS) and have expanded our services - diversification into online sports betting, virtual casino, multi-player poker and walk-in sports betting outlets all over the world, created an impressive $1.5 billion dollar volume in 2002.

Our mission at BetCRIS.com is to provide you with the highest caliber of service while meeting all of your sports betting needs. Whether you are a professional or recreational gambler, interested in European or US sports, we will cater to all of your sports betting needs.

Yeah, looks like it after all - the livechat link on the site has a reference to the BetCris URL.

It just looked like a rip-off of BetCris from first looking at it, coupled with the fact it wasn't on the SBR ratings list.

Yea, looks like the webmaster just copied and pasted. I will have to give them a call to see how these sites are operated. It looks like a clone versus ASAP or Option.
