Here is an excellent suggestion.....open back up to the US market. What most of us would give to be able to play at Pinnacle again. Without a doubt the best book in the industry. Enjoyed my time while I was there till my corrupted government had to make matters worse.

Pinnacle Pulse last year you would put info in your newsletter to sway bettors one way and then you woud jack lines up on that side, I was one of very few sharps that picked up on it.

Americans will never forget how you caved into the usa gov't and how you were unprepared for the new laws.

Spiro, Jay Cohen, Steve, Mickey were prepared and are flourishing. Pinnacle volume is way down.

Thanks for clarifying PP. Pinnacle is respected as a very sharp book. And it was obvious that last year's series of Pulses was anything but sharp. So the obvious question is why, and the answer isn't too hard to imagine.

Suggestions? I'd like to read a series of articles by your former Computer Grouper.

PP is a great read. In one article it said what they considered a bad line. They broke it down into percentage. SBR should have read the article because they have no idea if a line is bad.

With regard to the sharp plays, what we have here is a problem of cause and effect.

The Inside Line article (which is previously all the Pinnacle Pulse was) is designed to report what our sharps our playing up until that point in the week. What happens after the information on what our sharps are betting gets out is beyond our control - our lines are responsive to where the action is. Many players use this as a good reason to play the other side, because they feel the lines have been driven to the point where there is now value in going against the sharp. Which strategy is right is dependent entirely on the specifics of the situation.

In the coming weeks, we will be trying out some new ways of conveying sharp plays on baseball, soccer, and a number of sports. There is no plan to make them "informercials" as has been suggested - we simply want them to be informative and perhaps expand the betting repertoire of our customers.

We feel that you'll find value in what we have to say, but if not, we're also happy to hear your criticism of the Pulse and adapt to what the readers are looking for.

do not listen to jealousy isetcap, darkhorse, jjgold and other US members. I liked the way of pinnacle pulse. What else could main sportsbook post? Cooking recipes? The money flows and moves are interesting. I would like to know more about it. How big are volumes, how do you spot sharps, are the line moves automatical based on some formula as function of money flows and sharpness etc? Few days ago I maxed a stable line then i saw some 5 cent move and in few seconds came much bigger move. Was that some human adjustment of the line? etc... Simply i want know more how do you search for value.

Lucas: Sometimes syndicates hit a line multiple times. Pinnacle (or some other book) will move in response to the first hit, and then again. Something else to consider: syndicates will often "take out the screen" and maxbet every reputable book on the planet who's line was positive ev. Books hate that because they then get stuck with a "bad line".

wheell i know that, but it would be rare coincidence, line was up for few hours without movement, maybe somebody else hit it at the time when i hit it, but i doubt... i bet it because i liked it, there was no some new info that could cause steam;

IMO first small move was done automatically and second adjustment of the move on total numblers by 2 full points must be done manually

yes maybe, but i doubt that somebody would program a bot for overnight line with max 714 to win

i guess if pinnacle does not move odds but whole spread or total numbers then it is manual move

i think those information could be interesting for readers

you should have more live games for soccer and you should have those "livelines" that you have for hockey or basketball also for soccer. You have that for Spanish basketball but not for Spanish soccer for example.
also, the interface for livegames sucks. take a look at MAnsion88 or other asians. you have the the worst interface in business

2 problems

1) all time are posted on PST. unless you're in Los Angeles, this is very annoying. I think pinnacle should use standard time zone...either GMT or EST

2) not all games listed on pinnacle are listed. for example, aussie football and international basketball. i would rather use livescore.com than pinnacle pulse at this point.
