Thanks for taking the time to identify those with serious problems JJ. I know you've had your trials and tribulations with compulsive gambling, and would be as good of a source as it gets in identifying others with similar problems.

Good work and I'll be sure to keep a closer eye on those listed above....

Have you got the SBR list of Compulsive Posters? You know, a list of people who post any old crap on the boards purely for the sake of posting.

Pags is less of a gambler than many "non-gamblers" I know.

I can handle it. I could stop any time I want to. Sure maybe other people maybe have problems with it maybe, but compulsive gambling is something that happens to other people, not me. I'm not like them, I'm not the kind of person who could get addicted, that sort of thing happens to other people, not me. I could stop any time I want to. I like the over in the Angels/TB game. COME ON MAMA! OVER BABY! BRING IT HOME MAMA! COME ON BABY, PUT UP SOME RUNS!

I admire Pags cause he is so disciplined.. This thread is just more proof of how jjgold thread starting quota is not an urban legend...

    Default Compulsive gamblers that win?

Ever notice how everyone that has a "gambling problem" is generally a bad gambler? Most dont have gambling problems, they have a winning problems. Sure, some people exhibit compulsive behavior in all areas of life, they lack the ability to take ownership of their actions. Could be gambling, strippers, eating, booze, even good stuff like work, exercise and sex. Those types need to limit their exposure to potentially harmful activities, maybe get some help. But just because you bet alot doesnt mean you have a problem.
